OKC shot 77% from the charity stripe. Take out Roberson’s 2-8 and the starters were 26-28 from the line. 92.8% - practice those free throws kids.
I’ll tell you who should be missing...
Because of fucking Zack Snyder - oh, wait, wrong universe (?).
That’s not a terrible idea. Teth Adam and Billy get their powers the same way, maybe the powers of the Wizard make the person look generally the same when they transform? Hell, if Orphan Black can pull off Tatiana Maslany playing 3-4 different characters in the same scene, why can’t a big budget superhero movie do it?
So Disney will buy Netflix by when, 2020 at the latest?
I’m really curious about this. In my mind, I always believed Dr. Manhattan left his Earth with a sense of optimism about life. I felt like he found joy and happiness in life’s unpredictability and wanted to see more and more outcomes. But describing Manhattan and “nefarious” and “evil” worries me as he is way deeper…
To be fair, they are killing the Nu52 Superman and replacing him with the, uh, um, I guess he’s the “pre-Nu52 post-Crisis(?)” Superman.
I disagree. Transformers and Star Trek are in two very different places of pop culture. Transformer films have zero acknowledgement or respect of what came before them beyond the Autobot/Decepticon symbols. Star Trek at least makes somewhat of an (debatably successful) effort to honor it’s past.
We watched Wrath of Khan last night (my wife had never seen it and I haven’t seen it since I was a kid) and I figured out what why this Trek feels so different for me:
He wouldn’t be successful at his job if he buried his head in the sand and screamed about the good ol’ days.
Looks fun, I get the sitcom jokes - it a pilot and you have to establish 5-6 characters in a minimal amount of time. I’m sure the jokes will get stronger as the series goes. Or they won’t.
Ooohhhh....that’s why?!?!?! I never made the connection. I feel like Hank finding out Walt is Heisenberg.
WE WANT CLASSIC DC!
We wouldn’t want there to be any friction between the Avengers, would we? Nobody wants to start a............CIVIL WAR!!! :)
I don’t see any reason (besides a quick buck) that AoS has to be a full season. Make it event TV, compress the storylines, go to 10-12 episode. I think mystery of the week endings have never been the Marvel way (villain of the week/mystery of the week is a DC thing).
The biggest elephant that have to address is Coulsen. His death unites Tony, Steve, and Thor. What happens when they find out he’s alive? I could see Coulsen operating under the radar in Season 1, but at some point his actions should have attracted the attention of Cap.
Not too weird. Vader is an offensive force, he shouldn’t be sitting around shipyards looking for spies and saboteurs. I was hoping he would show up at the end, violently annoyed that HE has to clean up the mess caused by Kerenic.
The U-Wing looks like the result of a threesome between an X-Wing, Y-Wing and Jedi Starfighter.
