I'm only looking for SMS style 2-factor, so I guess my first step would be to attach a phone number to my account. That's where I run into the "Check again in a few minutes" error :/

Mine is around that age as well, it was my first email address... maybe Yahoo has issues with older emails. I know that they require a phone number in order to create new accounts now, maybe a few older addresses without a phone associated with them like mine are in some sort of limbo that brings up errors.
I've been trying to enable Two-Factor Authentication on my Yahoo Mail account for... probably over a year, even. I forgot about it until now, but whenever I attempt to enable the service, I'm met with this error in red text (even through the link provided on this post):
When I was in daycare as a child, we used to do this with the younger kids all the time. Sometimes they would hold the controller upside down, or have the SNES controller when we were playing N64. Good times. They didn't seem to mind though, and it kept us all occupied.
Every time I read "iWork" I read it in this voice
Thank you for the information, that's very useful. I do believe mine is AMOLED, so I won't be leaving the screen on for extended times like that.
Right on, I'm definitely going to give it a go over Ethernet then. Do you recommend any specific VNC servers on Raspbian?
Often if people can fix iPhones well, they can also fix Android phones... but, that's not always the case, so good on you for being cautious.
If you do not want to fix it yourself, there are often a lot of people offering fixing services on Craigslist (which are often overpriced, IMO).
How often do people respond to your ads? The one time I've successfully sold something on Craigslist it took me around a year of re-posting my ad for someone to inquire about it and actually not flake out on me.
While I enjoy the tech experience of that, in practical use I haven't had good experiences with it over WiFi. I have an old computer I use as a VPN server which I VNC into, and I'm always disappointed at the lack of speed while trying to navigate it. I assume the Raspberry Pi would be even worse due to its processing…
I definitely do want to try making a Lego case. My issue is my leftover Lego bricks from when I was a kid are likely not all matching and pretty like the ones shown in these tutorials.
I love having a Raspberry Pi, but I hate that I haven't done any projects with mine yet. Likely due to the fact that I have neither a case nor a dedicated keyboard/mouse for it and I've been too broke to afford them lately. :/
I read articles like this and laugh at myself, realizing that I read them as though I actually ever get to travel.
Yes— pardon my lack of details, I wrote that post in a hurry.
I love the home screen's look.
It looks nice, but I don't want to spend money on an app to do something like this... Sync.Me is what I was going to look into if I did jump on the browser bandwagon.
Sync.Me was right there in the list, but somehow I could not find it at all when I searched yesterday. Thanks for the link.
That's super helpful actually. Thank you, I'll use that.
Ugh I can definitely see how that would be annoying (it annoys me to no end when people have those as their photos anyway on Facebook, but it's not my decision so I can't whine about it)
