Thanks! I love the thinner bias lighting strips like this one, so I’ve definitely got it bookmarked for if I need one in the future :)
I’d love to know as well, does the Luminoodle detect and change colors on its own to sync with what’s being displayed?
Question regarding Smart Plugs, if anyone has knowledge of electrical/safety codes...
The foam roller that’s on sale isn’t the black one as described in this post, it’s the bright green one that’s shown in the photo. The black one is $38.
Does anyone know if those 1:1 power extension cables violate electrical code / pose a fire hazard, similar to daisy-chaining power extension cables with multiple outlets?
I was just going to post and ask if the shaving model is aware that he’s shaving with a banana. Glad I wasn’t the only one to notice :)
If anyone is looking for answers like I was, I just found a page that may help. Will take a try at this sometime this week.
I’ve never been able to get my bias light strips to go fully 90 degrees like shown in this post. Would anyone have advice on how I should go about doing that?
I purchased the Thunderbird Zippo insert as a workaround for having to refill the Zippo all the time:
I bought the Rockbird LED string lights and had a terrible experience with them. They did not last at all; the battery holds a charge for about five minutes, and they certainly got enough sunlight in California to hold them over so it’s not like they were under-charged.
Does this work with Verizon Fios? I’m currently using a Fios Quantum Gateway and am unsure if this is compatible to replace it.
I have a tiny Wexford personal fan at my desk. I’ve been considering doing some sort of mod to it, because it seems like a fun little project.
The fan features an aluminum 4-blade setup. I’m trying to figure out if it would be expensive or useful to replace this with a different blade, possibly from a desktop PC fan or…
It’s all good! I think there’s sound logic to back removing passwords from Chrome’s password manager, and instead having them in KeePass. This also helps with the issue you brought up in point a), because you don’t need to *know* any of the passwords — you can just have them locked away in KeePass and copy+paste them…
I went through and updated a LOT of my passwords yesterday to more secure ones! :D
Right on! I found out the issue, I was using curl in a command without defining the path. So it was looking for curl in whatever directory, when it needed to be looking for curl in /usr/bin/curl. It’s fixed now :)
Thank you! I tried outputting to a logfile and found that one of my variables was not being assigned correctly. I didn’t consider that I’d need to add the direct path to /usr/bin/curl instead of calling the shortcut of curl, but that fix worked :)
And to add to this, does this mean if you use your phone first thing in the morning, you should wake up faster?
Any Linux gurus around? I’m having some trouble with a script.
Awesome! So for those of us who don’t have children and don’t particularly enjoy other people’s children, this is a must-have to find places to avoid :P
