Ever since I got some ports open on my router, I've been playing with OpenVPN lately on a Fedora 16 box, I'm able to connect and ping the server through the VPN from both my phone and a separate laptop... but I can't ping anything else.

Good tips- I had a Fedora installation on another hard drive that's now plugged in to the computer, so at least I have a good OS to use. Once it's been in the freezer for a while I'll slip it into an enclosure or otherwise plug it in.

Although hard handshakes are usually used by friends to just mess around with you, this is possibly an issue of self-defense. People are bullies without even knowing it sometimes. Jujitsu has some neat tricks you can do in self-defense against these kinds of people.

I've been only using it lately for one site- highly anticipating a PS Vita exploit to be released soon so I need to keep a watch on it.

I don't have access to the router's admin settings, would there be a way I could check this myself? Nmap maybe...?

Any way to get around some nasty port blocking without having access to the router password for SSH tunnel?

I second your thoughts, my wording was the trolling part- I'm specifically thinking of Brown v. Board of Education in how they called it "reverse racism" while in actuality the idea of "reverse racism"/sexism is pretty impossible... haha.
