As a gay person, I did need Same Love. My girlfriend and I loved it. We all have different experiences and need different things. :)

I agree with this overall comment, but I do have an anecdotal story about how “Same Love” provided an opportunity for discussion in my family.

There’s levels to cuffin season though. Netflix and Chill is like multiplication tables. Cuffing Season is basically calculus. If someone was new to math you wouldn’t start with calculus. That’s why these who’re people are so confused, lol.

Ya know, “cuffin season” is another example of Black slang adopted by the wider populace, much like “Netflix and chill”. This is why some of y’all #onhere are confused as to what this actually means. It’s actually pretty funny.

Yeah... at a bare minimum, I think “I was feeling really lonely and isolated, so I started doing something pretty extreme to change my body shape!” probably warrants a follow-up question or two.
