Read it again. The 2nd proposal, the one at the mall, was set up by HIM “which he’d framed to his fiancée as a loving gesture”. Then comes the part about her wanting a second proposal.

My husband proposed whilst we were both sitting in our beaten up car that was parked in the driveway of our first home. (This home was wonky, had a water heater that worked 70% of the time and was missing paint) He didn’t offer a ring as he didn’t have the money for one but, he did have the beautiful words of Elton…
You... parsed that incorrectly. Read it again, sweety: she was so surprised that he proposed, PAUUUUSE, so SHE insisted HE propose again. Not she was surprised that he proposed that she propose that he propose. You’re making it too hard on yourself :p
Being single doesn’t sound so bad after reading this.
People say the most awful things to people with cancer. Well, they say the most awful things all the time to everyone, but you really notice it when you’re covered in scabs from chemo injections. A friend of mine looked me deeply in the eyes and asked, “What have you done to bring this into your life?” I told her I…
That’s not really true in Hollywood. If you have cancer, you’re seen as a liability no matter your sex, as fucked up as that is.
I am a man. When I got cancer my dad made it a point to tell me “hey you shouldn’t tell anyone you have cancer”. It wasn’t the right thing to tell me and it was quite some damaging advice. This topic comes up often in group too.
He looks so casual about it in the video above. Like “dude, you sexist piece of shit, but I’m gonna be chill and support all amazing tennis players. Chill with that nonsense”.
As Lindy West says, “No, not every opinion is valid and worthy of my time.”
Not sure I see what the problem is. Fair and balanced is fair and balanced.
Andy Murray is generally pretty great and had a woman coach for quite some time (which is just not done by men or even most women.)
#1 I have had a super crush on Andy Murray forever. I don’t know why. But now I love him more.
I will fully admit to hate watching Dance Moms and the UDC until kingdom come, and there is little love in my heart for Abby Lee Miller.
He seems like a good egg. And a serious fan of the Williams sisters.
I remember when that one contestant walked out at the finale looking nearly emaciated and in a split second cut to Jillian, she had this absolutely horrified look on her face. I like to think that was her “this is actually really fucked up” moment.
People will always believe sensationalistic crap that confirms their fears. Some Christians in the eighties were quick to believe Dungeons and Dragons was causing kids to go ape and hack eachother up with swords. In the same decade, others were quick to believe that large-scale sexual abuses were happening at daycare…
Haha, no.
I read the headline to my kid. Her response? “I’MMA GO FIGHT SOMEONE.”
