I look at the ‘10 & ‘12 rosters and can’t figure out how the hell we scored any runs.

Used to work at a grocery store from 2009-2015 in northern California. Regular customers came in, had an autistic daughter, nicest kid you could meet. You couldn’t get her to stop talking about the Giants, and particularly Vogelsong.
Sometimes you remember a guy as being super awesome for your team and then you realize he it was just that one game where he had 3 doubles against Cliff Lee in the Series, and he actually hit .254 with 3RBI and 5R in 15 games in the playoffs.
They do when they were drafted by the franchise, floated around in obscurity, then returned to play a huge part in a championship.
maybe the theme isn’t bad baseball players playing well, but good baseball players playing like shit?
Are you aware that the World Series is not the only playoff series in baseball? But excellent point bro.
Holy FUCKING shit, Samer. Maybe stick to the Mets or something, because you don’t know anything about the Giants. Vogelsong is probably the reason they won in 2012.
Ryan Vogelsong was a good Giant.
Sandoval has found much more success at his 37 plate appearances at Golden Corral.
Thank you for both your courage and your correctness
I was under the impression that the thing that led to Dave’s departure is that Eddie’s talent couldn’t make up for the fact that he’s kind of a miserable prick.
Counterpoint: The Van Hagar period was NOT lame.
I remember when they broke off from Sammy and for a brief time brought back Dave and they showed up at the Mtv Awards and in the 3 or so minutes they were on stage you could see in Eddie’s face they’d made a horrid mistake bringing him back.
I liked the DLR era however when Eddie brought in Sammy in my opinion they went to a new level. Then to see DLR back with VH on the Kimmel show, I hate to say it DLR sounded like shit. Just my opinion.
I don’t get the hate for Van Halen with Sammy. I thought they were fine.
The Van Halen brothers are what broke Van Halen up. Everything else was just a symptom of the problem
I appreciate both the DLR and SH eras of and have seen all 3 incarnations of VH in concert (even Sharon-yikes). My only regret is that I saw DLR with Van Halen last year and he was straight out of gas and horrible live.
“One of Newton’s resulting photos wound up in the band’s press kit, and another on a poster.” But guess how many photos from the photo shoot ended up in the article about the photo shoot?
It’s the video for “Right Now” that puts it over the top. Somehow it makes the song better.
“Right Now” is a better song than any individual song released during the David Lee Roth era.
