Well it depends on how incense works... it increases your individual odds of encountering pokemon, but it doesn’t affect other players around you. If it simply increases encounter rates numerically, then it could cause them to trigger in places that Pokemon catching might be forbidden in. But if it’s a multiplayer…

Does Niantic’s system allow them to effectively deadzone specific locations even when using Incense? I’m sure that it’s something they could do in the future, but I wonder if they already have a system in place that allows that to happen...

I can excuse there not being curly hair as an option in the game simply because there are absolutely no hair style options in the game at all. It sucks for people who like character customization, but people pretty much aren’t missing out any more than anyone else who doesn’t have the same hair style as the characters…

I was thinking the same thing... that Articuno is weaker than pretty much anything in my area that’s holding down a gym. If the Legendaries did spawn that weak then they would be totally worthless.

To be fair, Metroid has been known for its quality first-person games in the Metroid Prime series since 2002, so that’s more than a decade of precedent for Metroid in that format. But I agree that the idea of a team-based, action-heavy shooter isn’t in line with what people like about the Metroid franchise.
