I actually would kind of like if Exeggcute doesn’t get an Alola form, and it’s not until it evolves that you can see whether you’ve caught a regular Exeggutor or an Alola variant.

Well, if nothing else if they all got into a brawl it would at least have the type advantage.

Huh that’s so weird... I’ve mostly seen fanart on Tumblr that depicts Blanche as male... not sure why, because now that you mention it, it seems pretty obvioius.

I definitely didn’t like the Mystic leader. He looks so damn smug... He looks like the kind of guy who goes to Starbucks and orders a really complicated Chai Tea and insists on watching them make it, and sneers derisively at anyone who orders iced coffee...

lol I actually detailed how it ended up taking so long in another post... the comments section on this site are kind of a mess, but yeah... there were some unusual complications.

I was actually tempted to go for Valor after the leader image reveal, since I liked her design the most (and I actually disliked the team instinct design), but it’s not like I see either of them in-game very often, so it doesn’t quite matter that much

She got caught in one of those updates where it installed itself during a restart, so she didn’t get the option to set up a clean install ahead of time. The new install of windows 10 froze midway, and there was like... an hour of panic where she wasn’t sure if she should restart again, or if we should just wait it out

My wife and I just got new phones for PokemonGo, and we both went for Team Instinct since it’s the least popular team in our area (and world-wide, if I’ve read correctly) and we both just kind of enjoy playing underdogs or under-represented characters in games.

That’s pretty much why I’m not interested in upgrading. I work from home almost entirely on my computer and so does my wife... she accidentally triggered a windows 10 update and her computer was basically out of commission for a day and a half, which is basically the equivalent of throwing a day’s wages in the garbage.

Y’know... if they just left out the feather and the tomahawk (which, frankly, look to be poorly pasted in clipart anyway) this would be able to pass as just a screaming guy with a mohawk.

I doubt they will, because Nintendo is weird like that, but if they do have a more robust version of Pokemon Go that only works on the NX system I would bet hard money on them exceeding 30million in sales. I’m not confident enough on them to bet on it becoming the top console of the generation, though.

The WiiU launch lineup definitely didn’t do much to assuage the concerns people had about the WiiU. We got a slew of games that either worked just as well, if not better with more traditional hardware, and most of the games that did use the WiiU gamepad in an interesting way felt like glorified tech demos. And the one

Possibly, but I think that’s also been announced for PS4/Xbone, so it’s not too big of a get, unless it has some key features that are exclusive to the NX version.

I think it absolutely helped sell WiiUs... not as much as games like Smash Bros. or Mario Kart, but it’s still proving to be a reliable brand. It’s sold over 4 million units worldwide, and it’s the most successful new franchise on the WiiU. I think a lot of gamers who skipped the WiiU might be willing to pony up the

Like... just a re-release with all the DLC? Hmm... if they included all the modes from both WiiU and 3DS it might be a pretty worthwhile purchase.

I voted Marie earlier, but I didn’t actually join in on the Splatfest, because I’m so out of practice that I knew I would just add more losses to team Marie.

I agree... Splatoon could be a killer app for the NX launch. Pair that with the NX version of Zelda and they’re going to get a huge boost to their initial install base.

Oh man... I had a blast with Ultimate Alliance 1 when it came out... I was in college at the time, so my roommates and I ended up playing through it together... So it was Deadpool, Dr. Strange, and Spiderman taking on the world with a rotating AI in the 4th wheel picking up slack.

Ah, well critical flop is probably the wrong term, but I meant it in the sense that general opinion of the game is extremely low. It sold well enough, though less than Nintendo had hoped for. But it’s still mostly derided and you can’t bring it up anywhere without people (like me) bringing up how bad it was.

I hope that they’re not unrealistic enough to go that extreme... but I definitely agree that, unless this is a huge smash hit, we shouldn’t expect any new Metroid game in a long time. I think a moderate success would have them keep the franchise on the back burner, but middling to low sales will just have them shelve
