As someone who had an almost identical experience (I mean mas o menos, I am not a celebrity, I also did not immediately get engaged) I’ve been feeling for her so hard ever since he passed. I hate the idea of a Revenge Body. It’s insane. What do you even hope to gain, here?  To make the guy regret cheating on you?  And then what?  Like, I get being mad, and I’m all for exercise as therapy, but this kind of crap is not healthy or reasonable.

I like that you said “both sides” as if there were only two ways to say that cursed word. I lived in the South long enough to know that there are at least three ways (PEE-can, peh-KHAN, peh-CAN, etc), and none are correct and everyone’s cousin will fight you over this at Thanksgiving.
