Octopuses, who do not have personalities...
I fully agree, I would really rather prefer both realities to be legitimate as well.
Ah, thanks for the clarification! Not too sure how it's silly though, it's a bit too early to tell without all the details.
I guess you can't please everyone. If Nintendo made something to appease people who love the nostalgia, it'd end up being at fault for rehashing, exploiting nostalgia, and loss of imagination and creativity. I agree it's sad, it's also a greater fact of life I suppose.
Maybe it's because people were waiting for Pokemon Gray instead of playing Black or White, and since it's not coming out they're disappointed...
"Really" as in, I can't comprehend, please come again "really"? Or "really" as in, this is silly "really" (à la SNL's Weekend Update segment)?
I don't understand the hate for the idea of a sequel to the gen V games. I'm assuming this means a continued storyline and new content.
First, just wanted to say, hurrah for the return of recaps for POI!
If the next generation of pokémon looked like this, people would complain anyways. Axipoddle and Tabbypole look like Mudkip clones, most of the others would fall under the "overdone" category. I think there's a bit of nostalgia with regards to the older gen designs which is why people often think they're better.
It was a fun episode, even with the random beeping noises and magic!technology hacking. Loved the return of Zoe Morgan, I like having recurring characters in a series, I think it makes the show feel more fleshed out. I wasn't as appreciative of the black nail polish though, it came off as too much like "oh look it's a …
It wasn't any more ludicrous than the gadgets in the latest Mission Impossible... That'd be a pretty good invention though, I'd expect to see it on Thinkgeek if it isn't there already.
I don't think Reese doesn't trust Finch, I just think he's looking after his assets. It's more like Reese can look after himself, but doesn't trust Finch to look after himself. Or, to put it more plainly, I think in his crazy spy!batman ways, he was worried about Finch. Finch doesn't have to worry about Reese because…
Thanks for letting me know about this organization, adopting a Yellow-winged Bat now!
I think millions of years of evolution lead to us having the intelligence to create and use technologies that better our lives. The definition of and understanding of "how to be human" has always changed and evolved as humans have.
As much as I fear a GATTACA future or a Soylent Green one, if there was a risk-free way to grow petri dish babies, I would sign up, even if the kid doesn't get to look like Ethan Hawke.
So sorry if I misinterpreted your post, I found it somewhat difficult to understand what you were trying to communicate.
They can't title an episode "We should have ended on season 5" because that would entail having to single out just the one episode. Clearly, logically impossible. Unless they number them in parts...
I don't think it's as instinctive as you believe. Even as toddlers they have already had so much exposure to gender-specific toys and views on valid gender-behavior. Think about the products made for baby girls and baby boys. How much of what gendered behavior is natural vs. learnt culturally?
Isn't it just a chicken and egg thing then? There are less women in hardcore gaming because there are less hardcore games catering to women because there are less women in hardcore gaming? I don't think the colorblind comparison is apt because there are definitely more women in the population than there are people who…
The argument wasn't that they call her bitch in the first place, it's that they don't threaten Batman with sexual assault too. If Batman was similarly threatened, then it would be more equal.
