Can't reply to your comment to me because it was too short. Just came back to say you made a good point and also that it's more accurate for you to have said, "What she said" (memes aside).

He took that quote straight out of the article though... So in essence, the author doesn't know what he's talking about...
*respectful whistle*
Ha, brilliant! Someone please illustrate this!
Chuck Palahniuk:
How could it not fit here? The whole series is a spec fic au where Sir Arthur Conan Doyle never wrote Sherlock Holmes. Can you just imagine what that parallel universe would look like? Well, you don't have to because they've already done THREE episodes of it with THREE more to come!
Hopefully not from our future since their intervention and our actions changed things, right? Right?!?
Whoa, no mention of Year Zero? Both the ARG or the album? I think it's definitely one of the best American dystopias depicted complete with the ill effects of global warming, government surveillance, the US being a theocracy, mass druggings to ensure the populace's complacency, the presence, bio-terrorism, and a time…
Cool, as a Canadian, I feel that Heritage Minutes has clearly failed to impart this clearly culturally important fact.
I'm pretty sure there was some panning, though you're right, it was mostly photo montages, even more impressive!
I saw La Jetée for a film class, I didn't even realize until way afterwards that the film was mostly a voiceover and the Ken Burns effect, pretty awesome.
Quite enjoyed the writing style even though I'm not a fan of first person narratives. I was worried for a bit towards the beginning that it would turn out like different!angels that are more like different!vampires but are actually aliens, especially with the whole "sparkly" thing.
Argh, beat me to it! Prophecy's my guess too, love that film.
I didn't relate to Becky, it just seemed like a bit of a failed joke mentioning how ugly she is and how little she has to offer over and over again, especially since she doesn't really look that ugly and she came off at the very least, resourceful.
Didn't like this episode either, not that I've been liking any of them much lately. I did like that they are supposedly laying off demons for a while, that's a nice touch, especially since it'd seem way too redundant to have demons around when there are already Leviathans that basically act like tweaked demons…
Mr. Reese didn't know about the police force insider at the time though, did he? Or do you mean the drug dealers, The Wire style?
Ah, true, on both the technological side and the fact that he's Mr. Reese's sugar daddy.
Did I miss the reason why the drug dealers didn't have phones on them that Mr. Reese could steal?
Really? No mention of Arthur Dent from Hitchhiker's?
I agree, Reese is basically being Batman and he does use some technology, syncing cells, tapping phone lines, relying on a pseudo-psychic anti-terrorism machine.
