What sort of business voodoo happened that they only permanently own the first one?

You’re right that people are over reacting, but WoW didn’t start the recruit a friend program until the game had been out for years. There had been enough time for a new generation of WoW players to enter the age range or gain interest in checking out the game. HotS has been out for six months and most of us have…
My favorite has always been the huge quadroped around the middle of the game, because it doesn’t try to fight back, it just runs from you. I genuinely felt guilty after killing that one, a games never elicited that kind of reaction since.
Heh, my wife LOVED DOAX 1 & 2, we bought the first one for $10 at Gamestop and she easily played it twice as much as I did. I’d always wondered if anyone else had been in a similar situation =p
As a primarily HotS player, these changes confuse me. Why make the game even easier for the winning team? I’m not trying to make a subtle “HotS is so much better” jab here, I really don’t get it. What’s the design goal behind this? Shorter matches, sure, but why snowball a game as a means to accomplish that rather…
It doesn’t take multiple people all the time, fast attacking heroes like Artanis, Syl, or Tyrande can solo it. If you’re in lane against Murky and can’t break his fish, get someone to trade lanes with you that can.
To be fair, it borrowed more than a few ideas from MOBAs that aren’t in other class based shooters to my knowledge. Waaay more classes than most (21), with plans to add more. Naming their heroes rather than <class name>. Ultimates and wombo-ing them together.
Star Wars battlefront is doing the same thing and no one’s blinking. People are just freaking out because Blizzard’s last two games were f2p and they made some incorrect assumptions because of it.
That game was incredible to watch. Keeping DK basically locked into a permanent team fight so they couldn’t stop Abby’s push, then every time DK finally managed to disengage, C9 would just do an obvious boss pull to force them to reengage. And all along, Abby is just knocking their forts down one by one.
I know right? How dare Blizzard charge a COMPLETELY NORMAL price for a new game. The internet confuses me sometimes.
Yeah, the blade dash charge is a MUST to use him effectively. I really think they should move it down to 4 or 7, or even make it baseline. It seems like its going to be one of those must pick talents like Kerri’s increased pull range used to be.
Sorry, but that Samus costume is WAY cooler than generic lingerie number three.
You got it. They also have MUCH smaller engines than the rest of the ships in the Star Wars universe because they don’t have a hyper drive. The Millennium Falcon, X-Wings, Y-Wings etc. can all travel faster than light, hence the big ass engines. TIE Fighters just hitch a ride on the nearest Star Destroyer.
Summoners War ruined this style of game for me. I don’t really play it anymore, but I played for about 8 months and now every time I try to play a new mobile RPG I just think, “This isn’t as good as Summoners War.”
Because if you time it right, the siege giants will help you kill the enemy golem. You want to cap it as he’s approaching your fort so that the sieges will engage the golem from behind your wall. Generally when you wait to cap someone will stay with the camp to make sure it doesn’t get ganked by the other team.
It gets MUCH better after the conclusion of the Mr. Dark arch, though it never reaches the highs of the Adversary arch again. Its absolutely worth finishing though, later volumes bring the focus onto Snow’s kids and the relationship between Snow and Rose.
I have mixed feelings about it. The Epilogue is excellent. They touch on just about every single character in the series and let you know where they end up. The ending to the main story would have been MUCH better with more foreshadowing. Willingham suddenly and mostly inexplicably reverted a lot of character…
I tell all of my friends that Fall Out Boy is the best band you think you hate.
So I haven’t played him yet, but has anyone else found entomb to be far less devastating than expected? Its not bad by any means, but the narrow entry way means that a melee heavy team has trouble capitalizing on it. Played several games as Kerrigan last night and survived three separate entombs with some cool down…
