It would give me pause if I were an Xbox gamer in Japan. But being an Xbox gamer in Japan would give me pause to begin with, honestly. Now, Brian, this is off-topic, but since you and I have literally been at Kotaku the longest, I feel I have to tell you (I'd tell you in the "Cornfield," but the "cornfield" has gone…
If you think the Arkham games are just little Batman games, you sir are missing out.
I am a big Serena fan but it is hard to judge her against the all-time greats because her competition is so weak compared to past groupings of women tennis champs. It is sad how many top women got knocked out in the Open by low-ranked players compared to the top men. Martina and Chris Evert had each other to fight…
It's cute that you think domestic violence can't happen between two same-sex partners and that if it does it's ok because they are the same gender.
The handrail in the elevator has also expressed regret for its involvement.
Well, so much for "But we didn't see what really happened in that elevator."....
"I have an iPhone case like this!"
Daily Mail and buzzfeed, science 101 and Tim Burton movie.......all point into right direction.
I have to applaud Kotaku as being one of the first major gaming site to acknowledge that there was a mass of people critisizing the current situation WITHOUT being part of the harassers, sexists, trolls and mysogins. I've read so many articles broadly insulting people in the name of justice and whenever anybody wanted…
I'm all for snark, but I wouldn't jump into praising them for calling another company out for exclusive marketing. Microsoft have had a virtual monopoly on the marketing here in the UK when it comes to big brand adverts, and Sony often seems relegated to simply promoting first-party games.
Anyone know how the British courts tend to deal with companies that use loopholes in their contracts? i.e. violating the spirit of the agreement if not the letter?
If MS didn't put so much effort into timed exclusives and doing this exact thing with COD then yeah, I'd be all "SONY ARE BASTARDS". However, since Sony are being nicer then I'm not going to say that. I'm going to say, fuck you MS and what you did with Tomb Raider you robbing cunts.
Wow. This seems petulant considering the sheer tonnage of multi-platform game advertisements that I've seen that have all been conspicuously branded with an Xbox logo. Literally a week ago we saw the "Madden Season" campaign which was plastered with Xbox controllers, systems and branding, despite Madden being present…
I hope activision strikes back with revoking their CoD DLC exclusivity.
I dunno. It's dumb when gamers and fans devote themselves to corporations, but I think it's fun when these companies take shots at one another. Remember Sony's E3 2013 presser? "This is how you give a PS4 game to your friend." SO GOOD.
That's what's so much fun! I hope Activision strikes back with their own snarky ad.
This would have been clever if Microsoft didn't have any timed-exclusives...
The hypocrisy is astounding, seeing as they've been doing it with Call of Duty since 2008...
"Genie, you're free."
