I’ve always said that Elon Musk ain’t nothing but Donald Trump in a tech bro costume. And stupid ass comments like those above pretty well prove that the Stans are every bit as whackadoodle as your average trumpy Q-anon ding-dong.

Sure, but if I’m not fan of the band why would I wear their tee shirt, if you know what I mean?

I sorta feel like Musk is synonymous with Tesla to a degree that if I’m driving a car with a “T” badge on it, people are going to assume I’m one of the faithful. It’s the equivalent of putting one of those Christian fish on your car; you’re sending a message about your beliefs.

I remember reading articles on Teslarati about the time the Cybertruck was announced. Those people will stand for zero criticism of their dear leader. It’s pretty wild.

There are two things in that video: 1. Michael being a totally reasonable human being just like he’s always been and giving a properly balanced impression of FSD as it is today; 2. CNN video editor making the segment look like a complete joke by splicing together every single “whoa” Michael uttered to create the

The entire response from Teslarati doesn’t sound cultish at all. Nope, not one bit. No sirree!

My GOD, but Tesla fanboys are tedious stooges.

So is Ballaban a hater, shorter, or pedo?

People like that are a big reason why I won’t buy a Tesla. No other car company requires me to buy into its CEO’s cult of personality in this way. I don’t know ANY of the CEO of Honda’s political opinions, and if he expressed some he wouldn’t expect Honda buyers to dive in front of him to protect him from criticism.

Fuck Teslarati. Ballaban is a saint I tell you! A saint!

I’m sure a website named “Teslarati” is going to be unbiased. I don’t understand these Muskoles. Criticism of a beta program (or anything)is a good thing. This is actual feedback which Tesla can use to make their stuff better. The need to defend anything related to his Holy Musk is inconceivable to me.

Tesla changes their MSRPs every few months. I guess raising the base price isn’t technically a “mark-up”, but the effect is the same; the car costs what the seller thinks the market value is. The only real difference is that Tesla gets to keep that increase for themselves, while Ford has to sit back and watch someone

Not only does he not get his Bronco, he pretty much has to apologize and request that people take down the negative reviews that they put up in support of him trying to force the dealer into giving him the Bronco at MSRP. This is all on top of the dealer having one more Bronco in their inventory to be greedy with

So like Tesla and their solar roofs where they marked them up on people even after having signed agreements? Or like Tesla and direct sales of cars where everyone pays sticker and not like traditional sales where 90% of cars are sold at a discount?

All of this is a prime example of both how and why the dealer model needs to die and how Ford screwed up the Bronco’s rollout with its reservation system. Ford should have done a better job of explaining to customers how reservations work.

It was mind blowing at the time when they were just killing off the Caravan and leaving the Town & Country, and it was 5x more mind blowing when they killed the Town & Country to have the Pacifica. EVERYONE knew what the Caravan was, and that a T&C was a fancier one. It was synonymous with “minivan”. Fucking idiots.

It’s more likely ‘the crossover of ethically conscious buyers and Jeep buyers has not reached a point to warrant the costs of re-branding’

Or most likely because it’s not a crossover

But it IS electrified. It’s called a GTE. We just don’t get it.

Nothing in this article explains why the US is not getting the GTE (ok, we all know it’s cost).
