Seems like the only thing Tesla changed is the name - you still suffer from shitty upper management who don’t give a damn about its own employees. But unlike a traditional dealership, your parts are always on backordered and good luck finding an independent shop who would work on your Tesla - at least BMW & Mercedes

I’m remembering back in 2015 when the Model S P85D came out, CR gave it a scale-breaking 110/100 on their rated score, claiming it was the best car ever made. Then reality set it and stuff started breaking. Now it is just an “average” buy despite it high performance rating, dealer (*ahem*service center*) dependent

If Tesla really wants a future, the board needs to boot him NOW before he really bankrupt (sorry, bankwupt) the company altogether.

*CoughAutopilotCough*

Meanwhile in Canada, the Focus RS is still sitting on lots marked at nearly MSRP with little negotiation room to speak of.

Remember the “One Ford” policy that Alan Mulally enacted during his tenure that finally retired the aging Focus sedan that was on sale since 2003 via multiple facelifts and the retirement of the American-only Fusion for the European derived Focus, Fiesta & Mondeo (rebadged as Fusion) for the world market?

The truth is Tesla has a LOT of things they don’t want the general public to know - the company is literally running upside down.

Consider me surprised if Lexus/Toyota really did commit to a CT EV. At this segment unless you compromise on either battery size or interior quality (I cannot imagine this for a Lexus), you cannot get decent returns on investment or sales of an EV. I’d expect Lexus to maybe give an EV powertrain to the LS or RX much

I can’t wait for the inevitable downtime that would result in machines breaking down. There’s a reason no car factory in the world (other than one that is desperately trying to make ends meet) that operates in this manner.

Buick designs are looking better and better. While Cadillac’s “Art and science” theme is pretty slick, I still personally believe Buick has the best design department in GM’s stables.

The fact Elon’s vaunted automated robotic assembly line has failed means working at Tesla is no different (if not worse) than getting a job at GM, Chrysler or Ford.

Reverse: Elon Musk is just like that kid who cried wolf way far too many times. I wonder how much longer its fans and investors would be willing to trust what he says, because he can’t even achieve his “targets” without moving the goalposts every quarter.

Thank-you for openly calling this out. I’m in full agreement - Tesla’s fanbase has gotten far past the point of being rabid fans - it is safe to call it a full on cult. Adding to the fact Tesla is starting to resemble Trump in its refutes and PR speak is also a sign of the times.

That is a well written story & even more beautiful shots - that 22B is nothing short of pristine. Thank-you!

Isn’t NTSB the same agency that dissects airliner remains every time there is a plane crash? Or what about a shipwreck? Heck, NASA themselves had NTSB people help when Columbia (RIP) came back to Earth in pieces.

Personally my money won’t touch anything made by Tesla with a 10ft pole - I have my own reasons after reading enough Tesla statements, article and the like, and, unpopular it may be, my own reasons for doing so.

I’m failing to see the difference between a whiny rich kid and Tesla. Getting on the bad side of a government advisement agency is probably not a good thing in the long run.

All Model 3 that exist on the road today are of the $65,000 variety with the LR 75 kWh battery, premium package and Enhanced Autopilot - humorous as they are options but as of today they’re mandatory if you want a Model 3 before 2019.

The wheels are beginning to fall off Tesla. You almost wonder what fantasy-land their fans are living on, because with their balance sheets, promised timing, factory limitations, suppliers etc, there is no way on planet Earth Tesla can pull the Model Y out before putting the Roadster & Semi in production, and that’s

Probably a Buick variation of the Bolt. Using Chinese developed CATL batteries to maximize the incentives instead of the LG Chem cells. It would probably make GM tons of money considering how hot the EV market is in China.
