true. I daily drive an 02 and you must respect it. But it’s really not too bad with good tires and an understanding of what it is.

I though the same thing as I’ve been looking at them since selling my classic mini. I went to Petrolicious today and it pretty much solidified that it will be my next car.

This one is too easy because I can’t think of too much more surprising. Not much quirkier than this. It says you don’t take yourself too seriously, have interesting taste, and like to have fun.

I think it's way more interesting than the skyline (which is also interesting.)

Wow I'm actually pretty impressed with that time and your speed. I'm one of those army guys that has spent a fair amount of time on a hmmwv and I don't think they were ever that fast. Super fun in a desert though!

Forgot the Elise. It got better gas mileage for me than that mini JCW, I'd venture to say most would find it more fun.

Very true. I just have never had a desire to own any VW that wasn’t 30 years old at least, so unfortunately I can’t capitalize on their problems

Bad situation. Feel terrible for your average VW employee or salesman that is going to struggle for no fault of their own.

I get about 10 mpg in my viper. Is that good? I never miss a gas station.

For 20k there are countless better options. Not even a decision.
