I’ve owned an Elise, Evora, and now an Exige S. I look forward to eventually buying one used, like a good Lotus owner.

wow a stupid slideshow, nah.

That’s too bad about the Ducati dealer. I just picked up a Monster from my dealer and it was the best shopping experience I’ve ever had. Guy asked if I had any questions, answered them, and then threw me the keys and said take as many of them for a spin as I want. When I was done, he told me to just take a few days and

Agreed. I daily drove a gen 2 for a year, it’s not that bad really.

this color and year Camry is the same as the one that came with my wife when we got married 8 years ago. Until a couple months ago I was so proud of our clean bumper...then she backed up into it in the driveway. She was a champ and removed the bumper and with heat and a mallet popped it out, but a big part of my pride

cool!

I’ve owned one before and it’s the only car I’ve missed so much I want another. I’m at the point where I’ve owned and daily driven all of my realistic dream cars, now I need to save for something stupid and bonkers and financially not the smartest choice.

sell evora. buy classic mini. save for dream car.

You’re exactly right...as someone who was stationed at Bliss for a few years. I drove 3 different manual transmission cars in my time there, although none bought from Carmax. Viper, CaymanS, and Evora.

once I put my two border collies in my Evora’s backseats to go to the dog park, just to see if it would work.

Yeah when I had a Cayman I couldn’t believe all the space it had. I was able to fit all of my equipment for an army deployment in a combo of the trunk, frunk, and passenger seat.

Agree....but biased. Reliable? ehhh. On some points. I currently have to roll my window down to open my door because the internal door latch broke. Common on these cars.

Yep, that’s how it is in my evora. the manual wouldnt fit in it anyways so its in the trunk.

These two. Never had more fun in a car than them...and funny enough I owned a 987 Cayman that looked almost identical to this one. I have an evora now and would love to get rid of it and get back into an Elise and a classic mini again.

Are you me? Do you have border collies? I have to spell everything around them now, but then they start learning the spelling. Now we use spanish and they’ve yet to catch on to that.

True to that. I walked out of the dealership a few weeks ago when they wouldn’t meet my price because they were selling at a “loss”. They ran after me and said I could have it for my price.

of course, have the Wilwood MC

ding ding ding...guess what I’m having replaced on Friday on my Evora

Yep. I move around a lot and also like to try out different cars, so I let it go. Don’t really regret it, but in a perfect world it’d be a top 10 car to keep forever

I’ve bought 2...but in true Jalopnik fashion, only after some nice depreciation!
