One. And I bet I put more miles on mine than all of theirs combined (daily driver).
I don't know anything other than I just drank a lotta bourbon and I like fast cars that look cool. I don't like auto seats, touch screens, or panoramic roofs. Just give me three pedals and responsive steering. Cool!
americans only buy used lotus’s. I don't blame them. They last forever and are AMAZING to drive.
Let me row my own. I know its a cliche around here, but I'd save and buy one of these if it was manual. I am exactly what you're talking about in regards to looking for a real sports car: my last 3 cars were an Elise, gen 2 viper, and classic mini. Screw amenities. A car is for driving. AC is nice though.
Do what I do, put a dog in the left seat an you'll get nothing but funny looks and huge smiles from other drivers.
Truth, and teach your children this lesson as well. I park my cars in the garage because my Dad said that, other than the house, it's your most valuable asset - take care of it.
Oh - when you mentioned how the Dodge guys were very open in answering their questions I was really hoping you were going to tell us some of the Q and A’s, but then I got to the end.
One of the best write-ups I’ve read on this site. Keep em coming. I actually care more about how a car does every day than on the track, but there was something refreshing in the way that he wrote about the ACR - almost like he knew I’m not an engineer so don’t bore me with the confusing details.
I love CHVRCHES! Didn't know they had a new song; awesome!
Simple - Porsche. I'm not a dad yet.
Way overpriced for this monstrosity. Either go with a gorgeous gen II and save $35k or find a 2013+ for about that price. This seller has pipe dreams. I don’t think anyone is ever impressed with a “rare” color combination. It’s a cool enough car, but even the seller knows he isn’t gonna get what he is asking for.
Agreed. I like it and the fact that Alfa is rare in the US is a plus for me, but for most - stick with what you know. They have a lot of hurdles but I have been rooting for them since I first saw an 8C at an exotic car meet up in Washington. The 4c is an awesome car as well that just reaffirmed how much I like them,…
Haha, and they will. Jalopnik is the only site I post or read comments, but now I’m going to look for the “dude doesnt even kno what the cars name is he should nt be reviewing it”
and we’ve talked before several times...please kill they gray :)
This is my favorite video yet! I have not laughed so much on this site yet. The way you butchered the toybaru’s names was my favorite part. Keep em coming!
When I read the happy meal joke I at first skipped the wrist watch part and thought about the happy meal my mom bought 10 years ago that looks the same (bread is dried out). She uses it for health presentations or something. Land rover is the opposite of a happy meals longevity
Haha - driving my ms3 (sadly sold now) was a good substitute for arms day
yup; 90% of the questions I had as an Elise owner was “how much!?” the truth was very disappointing to them the few times I actually gave a straight answer($25k or so). it’s just how people are.
I think one key thing is to also never mention cool cars that your relatives, friends, random dude you went to high school had once. I have had unique cars - nothing crazy (Elise, Viper, Classic Mini, etc) and love to talk about cars with anyone. What has always frustrated me is “Oh cute car, my brother in law has a…
