I schedule appointments to do these tasks in my Outlook calendar. "Call X. Schedule Y. Pick up Z on lunch hour." It took my stress level to zero when I started scheduling them like any other work task. Then I'm not constantly trying to remember to do them or wondering if I will get them done.

I email myself little reminders and to-dos that sometimes do pile up. Luckily I get every-other Friday off of work and most of the day I'm by myself, so I use the morning of this every-other Friday to power through everything. It's my "power day" instead of "power hour"!

I really like this idea. I always find myself pushing simpler tasks to the bottom of my list because something "more important" comes along. Definitely going to try this tip.
