@SQLGuru: My home computer is set up the same way. My account is set up as the only Admin, and I force anyone else who wants to use my computer (usually to play games) to log in under a guest account or extremely limited access account.

@DaveyNC: Agreed. If privacy is a concern, then why let yours lay in the hands of some social networking site that could easily permit a "mistake" such as this. To any sites that could potentially display my email address (or other personal information), I give either a temp. email from a service like MeltMail, or…

I'm not a huge fan of gift cards for the most part, Cash is definitely a much better choice to me, but what about those old, crusty relatives that live thousands of miles and like to send checks for holidays that sum up to a total of maybe 40-50 bucks for the WHOLE family. My grandma STILL sends me a check in the mail…
There's no f'ing way. I spend so much time browsing the internet, if sites start hiding behind a stupid "pay" wall, i'm going to have to find a new hobbie 'cause i'll go broke in no time #internet

Definitely lookin' pretty sleek!

Wow... I love how features like this go un-noticed, yet they are so useful and convenient
Not a big fan of this program, seems too limited to me. Also, I have a gmail checker attached to a samurize config from the "Stealth Featured Desktop" posted here on lifehacker
I've built and rebuilt so many computers and servers that I've completely lost count. My biggest tip is TAKE YOUR TIME. I still find myself making stupid simple mistakes that set me back a bit in time. If you do like Gina says and read the manual, you shouldn't have too many issues
My stupid roommates broke the safety button that stops the washing machine from going when the lid is lifted up. It was actually quite simple to bypass. I just broke the button completely apart and stuck the two wires that went into it together. Now we can watch the cloths get clean! Fantastic! Of course my cats are…
meh... I can type 70wpm on average, I've got no problem jamming to some tunes while transferring my jotted notes. However, I generally have my laptop with me wherever I go, so I rarely set pen to paper
I definitely love this quick little hack, BUT as a word of advice, if you're using a drive that already has special encryption software pre-installed on it when you buy it, be careful when modifying the autorun file. I simply added the line of text that changed the label, then saved the file. The encryption software…
