The Colorado should have really received the 4.3L pushrod EcoTec3 small block. That V6 is awesome with 297 HP and 330Ib-ft and I’m sure it’s smaller and weighs less than the DOHC 3.6L.

Never bet on gas being cheap even for a short while. besides, it makes you lazy. When FCA/CHRYSLER needs to be working on their cars, not merely trucks and SUVs, to make those more desirable (Totally muffed up the DART), they should NOT be doubling down on less fuel efficient vehicles.
