I’ve got a 19MY SP in F8 green, not going to lie, I’d love to update my interior with these components. I think it looks sharp!

You could always rent them one of your spare 39 vehicles that are sitting around your house/yard. It’s win-win, you get some extra money renting them the units, and the never ending repairs that you have to perform on them to keep them going provide you with non-stop content generation!
The Voltec platform was what I saw being the next big thing in propulsion until we figured out the next step of moving away from ICE.
This is a really good answer. The 2nd Gen Rams really redefined the style and designed of full-size trucks in America. Ford followed suit with more rounded lines in 97, GM followed suit in 99.
You could also get the Allison transmission with the 8.1L V8 gas engine (GMT800 series).
Oh trust me, I’ve made the case for it. For some reason my wife doesn’t like the 2.0 turbo.
My wife want’s a Wrangler something fierce. We plan on getting one in a year or so, but I keep hoping that they’ll come up with a 6-cylinder making 350 hp and 400 tq.
Whenever people complain about the vehicles others drive, I’m always curious as to how green of a lifestyle they live.
I never let my vehicles get below 1/4 tank, prefer to keep fuel there to cool the fuel pump module. When I was commuting to work I’d fill up around a 1/4 tank. Now that I’m working from home and using far less fuel, I usually top off when I get to 1/2 a tank.
So is the plan to use the green ZJ to repair the 94 Red ZJ, then take the swap the unobtainium parts from the 94 to the 93, then sell the 94?
Pops retired from Chrysler, so I’ve got a similar fetish for Dodge Dakotas that you have for your Jeeps.
Honestly they look pretty decent, however I wish they would have went with a different name. As an owner of a 2017 Chief Vintage, I think the mid-size between the Scout and the Chief line should have been “Warrior” or something similar.
My wife had a XJ, great rig too!
Nice! Always liked that Amethyst color!
Thanks! Nothing better than a small truck with a V8 and stick to have some fun! I grew up with my Dad always having Dakotas and I kind of inherited it (actually, my obsession took it to a whole-nother level.)
The TBI variants of the LA series motors (3.9, 5.2, 5.9) basically run forever due to the fact that they don’t make enough power to hurt themselves. My 1988 Dakota had 200,000 HARD miles on it and still ran like a champ after the frame rotted in half.
A lot of times the “collector car insurance companies” require it to fill a specific niche, either a classic, collector or possible modern muscle/supercar. I’ve had really clean vehicles from the 80's/90's that were solely nice weather toys, but often times they have no interest in insuring them, or (due to them not…
While the styling is definitely neat, the price point is rather absurd. If this company had developed their own single/twin cylinder engines instead of utilizing an off-the-shelf Chinese unit I might be inclined to understand the price.
Missed a 1969 Dodge W100 Power Wagon Utiline Shortbed, 383 4-speed for 2200 bucks a few years back by a few hours. Found it online a few months later for 6500 bucks with minor updates.
I’m pretty positive you couldn’t get the 5-speed with the 5.2 in 1991.
