My mom drove one of these when I was growing up. They were great rigs. Comfortable, relatively reliable, economical, etc.

FYI, although the Speedmaster is a seriously badass watch, Bond’s primary choice is a variant of the Seamaster.

Buy the rebuilt engine for 1,000 and install it in your Jeep so you can start enjoying it.

It is getting pretty ridiculous. I tried loading one of the stories on my iPhone and it literally crashed and wasn’t able to load.

I’m actually shocked at how high the axle ratio is on your truck. My 1971 Dodge Power Wagon is rocking 4.10 gears, and with a 360 V8 and the NP435 it has no issue accelerating. The trouble is 50ish MPH is turning 2500 RPM, not exactly highway friendly.

During that time period Dodge Trucks were sold in Canada as “Fargo” trucks.

Just to keep things in perspective, the bill was drafted by a Democrat.

The nice part about working on a classic Mustang? Parts are readily available and quite affordable. You’re about 45 minutes away from NPD if you want to really go crazy fixing it up.

I guess mine is the unpopular opinion now, but I couldn’t stand OHMSS. I felt the acting was terrible and the pace was awful. OHMSS is literally the ONLY Bond film where I was excited for it to end.

Other standard features include the 6.3-liter V8 paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Um, didn’t you recently buy an MJ Comanche?

I had to google that as well. I read that and the first thing that came to mind was “When in the hell was it announced the Renault was merging with FCA/PSA?!”

Looks like a substantial upgrade over prior generations, which was definitely needed!

I could agree with slightly smaller than the Tacoma, but not by much.

Good point. Since all generations of Dakota prior had IFS, I wonder if the Gladiator frame could be adapted to make IFS work over a SFA.

I prefer my trucks with a body-on-frame construction, and I feel if there is a likelihood of a Dakota being built that isn’t a FWD architecture that the Gladiator platform is the best chance.

A new Dakota that is approximately 3/4 size of the current Ram 1500. Trim levels would be Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie and Limited. It would be built on the Jeep Gladiator platform and a 6-speed manual would be available on ALL trim levels. There would be a TRX off-road package, but it wouldn’t need to be quite as

We can only hope and pray that it actually makes a difference.

Don’t forget David Tracy! He writes about fun wrenching related stuff for the most part!

ESPECIALLY if you live in Michigan!
