Like the flat track racer, I could picture myself riding that.

It’s a nice thought, but it’ll never happen.

Both front fenders, the hood and the bumper have been replaced. The chrome bumper belongs on a Dakota LE or SE model, as the Sport Edition Convertibles had black painted front bumpers.

I love these kinds of builds. Guy has some awesome talent!

I’m a millenial as well, and own 6 vehicles and a plethora of motorcycles. However you and I are not the norm.

Most of their kids don’t know how to run a manual transmission, or deal with a carburetor. Hell, a lot of younger people won’t even know what a key is in the near future with all the push-button starts.

Neutral: 1st generation 3/4 ton, 4WD Cummins powered Ram with a manual transmission. Engine is simple, reliable, efficient and can be made to run on a variety of fuels. Dana axles and New Venture t-case are strong, Getrag 5-speed should be good with the occasional clutch replacement.

You gotta know when to Holden...

I also own a full-size truck, so I completely understand your logic. But sometimes people want something narrower, lower, etc. Between Tacoma and Colorado/Canyon last year they moved 400,000ish trucks, so there’s a market.

Rust belt does them in unfortunately.

There is ABSOLUTELY room for a new Dakota! If they can make a Dakota that is 3/4 the size of a Ram 1500 and include a quality interior (like the DT platform Ram currently), it will do well!

You should give a warning when you are going to show spiders.

The ZF 8-speed is an awesome transmission (have one in my truck), but I agree the Charger with a 6-speed manual would be great!

Here she is after ceramic coating.

Not that I could afford either, but even if I was wealthy I could imagine going broke from the insurance premiums!

I did my part last year!

Your statement of GM’s full-size trucks not offering ANY kind of adaptive cruise control is incorrect.

“Hellavan”? “Caracat”?

Or “True Youtuber”, or “True Blogger” or “True Vlogger”.

I always wanted a Dakota convertible too! Always keeping my eyes open for a 4x4 5-speed manual variant!
