Truly electrifying news!
Star for “The Car”.
If they had built an Equinox with a Voltec drivetrain I think it would have fared substantially better.
5-minutes too late! I was going to say the same thing!
Drove past your pad on Saturday and saw you guys working on it. I was curious as to what fate had in store for it.
Around town even with shifting at 3000-3500 rpm it still does pretty good (16ish). As you said it really shines on the highway (I’ve seen mid-upper 20's when I was running it at 70). My wife has a Charger R/T AWD that is great on the highway and manages to get 25MPG doing 70-75.
There’s something to be said about the late 80's early 90's TBI engines (Chrysler and GM). They were gutless, but because they didn’t make enough power to hurt themselves they would literally run forever.
Great color! I have a Ram in Delmonico Red (which I believe is the same).
Thanks for your kind words. I’m just thrilled that people seem to agree!
Hahah, clever! I know it’s a boat, but it’s fun!
I find the seats to be very comfortable and the interior all-around a pleasant place to be. Out of the three offerings in the segment, the Challenger has the best vision (sit in a Camaro or Mustang). 0-60 in under 5-seconds is plenty fast for a guy that daily drives a full-size truck and drives roads with 45mph speed…
Thanks! My buddy had a Scat Pack Charger and it was a blast to drive too!
Sorry to hear about the issues you had with yours. Agreed on the interiors, the update is far superior to the launch interior.
Only way to roll!
The color was an easy choice, since I’ve got an old Plymouth that came from the factory in F8 as well!
Not looking forward to our cars turning into another boring appliance. Hoping it won’t be soon!
You got it! I had mine ceramic coated when I purchased it and I struck up a conversation with a guy having work done on his Porsche. When I told him 485hp with a 6-speed for about 40k (Power Dollars rebate at the time) he said “maybe I should think of getting a fourth car!”
The V6 is quite competent with over 300hp. I can imagine it would still be a fun daily driver!
Thank you! I’ve got a brother with a 5.0 convertible that is great, so I can understand the Mustang draw too!
It’s absolutely beautiful! It’s faily understated, but when the sun hits it just right, the metallic flek is amazing!
