Cadillac seems to always need their own specialty V8's. Look at the 4.4L Northstar in the XLR-V and and STS-V. Fairly certain those were the only two vehicles that used that engine.
If you’re serious about driving it to MOAB, I’d start looking on the forums for an overdrive setup, otherwise you’ll be maxed out at 40-45 mph.
He’ll be lucky to run at a constant 45-50 mph.

I had an ‘88 Dakota 4x4 5-speed I bought for 300 dollars. Drove it for 7 years before it rotted in half. Sold it for 450! I was quite sad to see it go, one of the best trucks I’ve ever owned.
