I’m interested to know why you feel the prior generation Bonneville was a piece of crap. I own a 2002 and have put 30,000 trouble free miles on it. They weren’t the most powerful from the factory, but aftermarket support is great for them and they have a LOT of build potential. Plus, the motors are overbuilt from the

The thing that bothers me about Harley’s is mostly their riders attitudes. I live in SE Michigan and I think in the 8 years I’ve been riding on the road I’ve gotten one wave from a Harley. I will wave at anything with an engine on two wheels, and always get a response from everyone BUT Harley’s. They just seem to have

The current generation Bonnevilles/Thruxton/Scrambler make somewhere in the low 60’s HP wise, so I imagine it will be a pretty good increase.

One of these will make an excellent addition to my 70 TR6R and 02 Bonnie!

I’m going to have to disagree with the sentiment of most commenters here. Although I liked Diana Rigg, I did not enjoy Lazenby playing the role of Bond. This remains the ONLY Bond film that I have considered shutting off while watching, and it just seemed to keep dragging on.

Beat me to it!

I’ve got a 2002 Bonneville as a daily rider. Great bike! But as you said, the current generation is EXTREMELY long in the tooth. I’d love to see 75-80hp, a sixth gear to drop highway revs and a more comfortable seat. I’m not happy about catalytic converters, and am concerned about what liquid cooling will do to the

It will be. That’s the available “Trail Boss” Edition.

I need to work for your company!

Fleet and government can order an Extended Cab WT with the diesel, in a few years you’ll be able to pick one up at an auction for a song!

Outside of the concern of individuals not paying attention while operating a 2-3 ton killing machine, I’d have to say a portion of it has to do with over half the country having relatively nasty winters. Having cold/lousy weather 6-8 months a year puts a damper on having a motorcycle/scooter.

I never realized how close I live to you (about 2 miles down the road). I drive past your place everyday heading to Detroit for work.

If I was going to go the cruiser route, it would definitely be this:

Bought my wife a 14MY R/T AWD and it’s a fantastic car. Fun to drive, good handling and gets 25+ on the highway.

Wife had a 1995 Cherokee Sport prior to the Compass that took a hard beating and kept ticking. Bought the Grand Cherokee since it had the same drivetrain.

Can confirm that they are utter shit. Wife got one brand new in 2007. Told the dealer there was hub noise at 7k miles, said no problem found. 37k the front suspension was shot (just outside of warranty thanks to my wife not telling me that the steering was “loose”). 65k thought about trading it in and dealer offered

Have to go with the S.S. Baychimo, a ship that got trapped in ice and was abandoned along the Alaskan coast in 1931, and was last seen in 1969.

Am I the only one that upon taking a quick glance at the “Wildtrak” saw “WildStank”?
