I worked at Ford Racing for a while, this was one of their “fleet” vehicles. Quite an experience, and definitely on my Top 10 list of vehicles I’ve driven.
My buddy bought a brand new 2013 (can’t remember which model) with a manual trans. It was burning a quart every 1,000 miles and the dealer told him it was normal. Ended up trading it in (with 5,000 miles on it) for a used Grand Prix.
I’m looking forward to picking a used Scout up in about 5-10 years for half price, it’s a sweet bike!
I was in love with episodes 4-6. Watched them more times than I can count as a kid/teenager. I was incredibly disappointed with episodes 1-3, but that being said, I got goosebumps watching this trailer.
It does sound marvelous.
While that is an awesome thing (because I have definitely owned vehicles that wouldn't pass inspection), the fact that our insurance rates are, I believe, the highest in the country is a reason to NOT like Michigan...
1.3 seconds.
And remember when carbureted cars would stall out for no reason? I sure do.
This is quite possibly the greatest thing I have EVER seen.
I married my high school sweetheart. While we were dating her passion was swimming, mine was cars/trucks/motorcycles. When she was done with swimming I told her I had no plan on getting rid of my hobby, and she is pretty supportive of it.
Can't star this enough.
Where you really feel the "small-truck" feeling is in the width. The Colorado is almost 6 inches narrower than the Silverado, making it easier for non full-size truck drivers to park.
Have to agree regarding the size. A Crew Cab 6ft box model is almost an inch longer than a Suburban!
Fishing for a full-size?
He's got the whole world in his hands...
