I bought my 2008 GMC Sierra Z71 4x4 Extended Cab SLE2 at the end of the 2008 when they were clearing them out. It is pretty well loaded (5.3, remote start, dual climate control, etc.) and with rebates I got it for about 25,000 bucks. You can't even get a stripped 2WD V6 regular cab Silverado for less than 26k

I wish I could do that with my dog, it would be awesome!

Aww hamburgers...

Too bad they said had to get decent fuel economy. If fuel economy was not a concern I would suggest either a Wrangler Unlimited 4-door, or a Toyota Tacoma Double Cab (since you said it needs to seat 4). You can put a ton of miles on them and they maintain a strong resale value.

I have to be a little lame, but I got to say the 2004 Dodge Dakota. It was the last year the Dakota looked good.

I've been satisfied with Heacock Insurance for my Valiant, but once again you have to run classic plates and can't daily drive it.

Australian domestic violence.

Here is hoping they don't screw it up. Changing to aluminum? OK. Upgrading to more fuel efficient powertrains? OK. Not making it body on frame with solid axles? NOT OK!

GREAT article! I have ridden bikes for the last 7 years. Started on a 77 Yamaha XS750 triple, currently ride a 2002 Triumph Bonneville (with a 70 TR6R for 50mph putzing around). The Bonneville is the perfect daily rider. Has enough power to be fun, doesn't weigh a ton, consistently gets 50+ MPG and is fun/decent to

I'm a Triumph guy and own a few old and new, but this has me thinking about a Ducati!

That's because the Crew Cab Long Box is 225", the Crew Cab Short Box is 212.7".

Outstanding.

Can I build mine out of a Dakota? I see a 92-99 regular cab, 318, 5-speed as my "Bro-Lite" of choice.

Hahaha, that was when I worked for Ford Racing and they had it in their test fleet. It was one of two in the United States at the time, and not available for purchase. If you want one you'll have to get it overseas or in Mexico and try to get it cleared for use in the States. I can tell you, I've driven more

I was hoping someone would post this picture. I had no idea what it looked like until now. Awesome!

It was only offered for 2012 and 2013 BOSS Mustangs, but I would have to say the BOSS "Track Attack Program" that Ford offered at Miller Motorsports Park.

All three motors (4.3, 5.3 and 6.2) were all new for 2014. None of the motors were carryover.

Silverado 1500 LTZ Crew or Double Cab 2WD with the 6.2 (420hp, 460 lb.-ft. torque)and Max Trailering Package is rated at 12,000 lbs.
