Someday I will own one with 4WD and a 5-speed!

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen a NPOCP this close before...

100% agree.

I would have to disagree with your list.

Currently rotting in the woods up north, I'd like to restore it, but it is too far gone.

The "not-so-popular" Chrysler B-Bodies of the late 1960's. Specifically the "Gentleman's Hotrod" Plymouth GTX with a 440 making 375HP and a 4-speed transmission.

The 318 with a 4-speed manual transmission isn't exactly a slouch in that light of a platform either!

I bought an 88 Dakota 4X4 5-speed for 300 bucks. Before signing the title the seller asked me if I really wanted to buy it, and I said why wouldn't I? "Because I tried to kill this truck, I mean REALLY tried to kill it, its been airborne more time than I can count."

Several Dodge Dakota's including a Red and White Shelby, 4x4 5-speed convertible, R/T and others... (it's a mental illness I'm fighting and losing). = 50k (I KNOW THAT BUYS A LOT OF DAKOTAS)

Rodge Dam

Modular motor probably launched a spark plug or two, and the guy just lost it.

Plymouth.

You could utilize the 6-speed manual used in the 3.6L V6 Camaro (Camaro and Colorado both use LFX 3.6) it would just have to be re-designed to accept a t-case on its ass-end for 4WD models.

Just a few things.

You mention tractors, but no motorcycles? What about Ted Simon taking a Triumph around the world?

Kinja'd

The motors are all new to the 2015 Tahoe/Suburban. It's the EcoTec3 platform, which debuted in the 2014 Silverado and Sierra. (4.3 V6, 5.3 V8 ,6.2 V8) While the prior generation V8's did have VVT and DOD this platform got Direct Injection (and the V6 got DOD).

I've had at least 1 Dakota (most of the time 2, and at one point 3) since I got my drivers license. Best MSPU ever!

One thing I will never understand, adding a giant tachometer to a vehicle that is already equipped with a tach from the factory. If you are drag racing the car I can understand adding a shift light tucked up by the A-pillar (if you need it), but these monstrously oversized tachometers look awful. It just clutters up

Agreed. The government gets involved in (and screws up) everything. I can imagine them trying to push through legislation that makes "human operated" vehicles a thing of the past.
