What will it be, six months before Volvo stops releasing Android updates?

This seems to be changing:

Huh? But laser printers have lasers. They don’t burn the paper, but they’re responsible for generating the image.

So I had a look at the recall and what actually went wrong is somewhat concerning. They claim that they observed failing instrument clusters in their test cars, and that the fix is to update the software to a version with the watchdog enabled.

Sure they are meant to cool larger areas, but you don’t expect them to drop your house temperature from like 160F to 70F in 5 minutes. Nor to cool off and keep cool your black dashboard and seats that have the sun constantly beating down on them.

Don’t underestimate car A/C systems. My little Miata has a (somewhat too small) 12000 BTU/hr unit, which is about the biggest 120V window air conditioner you can get. My entire house has a 36000 BTU/hr system. I would only assume that S-Class would have originally shipped with something closer to that size.

Sure, but an automaker with shitloads of money could do two variants if they really wanted to and maybe save some money. But a smaller one couldn’t invest enough to do that and their cars would be more expensive in non-CARB states as a result.

Maybe they’re also worried about a game of chicken. Once the first automaker releases two versions for CARB and federal emissions, all the others will have to as well to remain competitive. This would e.g. help VW and hurt Mazda.

I think the statement isn’t quite clear. At least how I interpret it, he’s talking about why brake pads are used. The controller loses its ability to draw energy from the motor when the car is moving very slow, and the perfect controller couldn’t hold the car at a stop. It’s not possible to stop an electric car purely

Legoland Deutschland is similarly special, but of course with a more Teutonic focus. Please excuse any misidentified cars and the phone-zoom-tastic quality.

NC miatas do this electrically. A button in the trunk disables the electric opener, so you can’t use the remote or the button on the dash.

Hm, I see. I would buy the T3100's screen from you, but it doesn’t sound like you’re willing to part with it.

What laptops? I have a T3100, but the electronics in the screen have been damaged beyond repair. I would seriously entertain purchasing the defective laptop’s screen from you.

Simple: because the infotainment is a part of the purchase price of the car. If I could buy a car with no speakers, then I don’t have a right to complain about the infotainment. But if I’m paying for it, it damn well better work.

Is that Eric Idle

Have they switched more accessories over to 12/48V in order to take advantage of the extra battery? 10 minutes of engine off time would be lethal during summer in Phoenix, if the AC compressor can’t run off the battery.

I’m sorry but I’m a little confused. I want to come and see rad 80s and 90s machines but not enter my own. Maybe sit for the rest of the races on Friday and Sunday. The Radwood ticket is then correct, right?

Is the $50 for seeing the cars or entering your own?

There will be up to 24 electric motors on board.
