Attended the Chicago Event. Knew it be special day on the train, where I was extremely lucky to have a seat as people stood along entire aisles. Turnout was so high it flooded the entire march route, which was great news, but then led to a lot of people standing around really close together listening to speeches for a

I actually go back to back to Harry Potter a lot for a very pure sense of hope in face of what seems like evil. More recently, Steven Universe is the best for touching my fuzzy "yeah, everyone's worth loving!" side, while Hamilton works great for awakening my "Hell Yeah, America can get through this" side.

The same criticism could technically be applied to Katrina story they're doing- doesn't seem like Murphy really cares about the title of his show

I'll admit I probably went it really prejudiced against it and you dig it if you want, but it still feels to me like the most annoyingly designed-to-win-an-Oscar contender in a while.

That wasn't a James Franco level of disaster, but still a low key train wreck award show.

Oh, we're about to be done?

As many people have criticized for, though, it's a musical that feels light on the music side

Uh how about a Hail Mary for Sing Street?

Compared to the other presenters, not really

Sing Street is amazing and it's on Netflix so you should go watch it now if you want cause it's better than this award show

By the way, I just realized this is the 2nd straight year the Golden Globes gave best supporting actor to someone the Screen Actors Guild didn't even nominate

Go Donald, but seriously, why did this come after all the other TV categories? Shouldn't you climax with Best Drama?

Seriously though who's presenting Sing Street

Is it just me or does Chris Pine look/sound a lot like Nick Offerman

There was a moment earlier where someone mentioned minority actresses and the camera cut to as many random minority actresses as it could find in the the following few seconds, which I thought was funny.

She must have been mad at Hugh stealing her joke earlier

The A.V. Club

Thought Manchester would get this, but apparently La La Land is really going to smash everything

I've been thinking about this for a while. You thought Hidden Fences was good? Wait till they finally go to space in Hidden Moon Fences of the Southern Wild.
