This was stupid, but I think she'll still get on that ship to Westeros by the end of next week.

The Cabin Boy if you mean Tris Botley was clearly more in the Friendzone than even Jorah, but I liked him too.

I assume chasing the Brotherhood will lead him into an eventually showdown at the Twins also involving Jaime, Brienne, Podrick, The Blackfish, The Freys, Bronn, possibly Lady Stoneheart and or Arya, and whatever let's throw Hot Pie in there since he's not that far away.

I assume Lady Stoneheart wouldn't give a shit about anyone at this point, if they need more supplies to kill the Freys than wiped out all those smallfolk fuckers.

I knew we'd be getting the Hound but when the show opened with a Blacksmith with his face hidden I gasped thinking we'd be getting Gendry with him. The Hound might be my favorite character, but that reveal would have been way cooler for me. Usually when people complain about GoT episodes being all set up I think "Oh,

I'm definitely calling bullshit if the Waif received no reprimending from the House of Black and White for her actions. Jaqen said the whole Faceless Men mantra was basically to be neutral about who lived and who died, but the Waif clearly wants Arya dead based on personal bias against her and not just out of service

When they started the episode with a Blacksmith who's face wasn't being shown I thought it be Gendry who was getting reintroduced there (better in retrospect he wasn't hanging around there).

Davos's problem is he's so loyal to Stannis so he'd never tell anyone all that shit was Stannis's fault not his, so you can't really blame Sansa for not being very impressed by his record.

The worry is that going slowly now will make them have to rush through more important stuff later.

The fact that the Hound didn't literally die is besides his point, his issue is the show tried to make you think he was dead, and walking back on that diminishes the feeling that anyone can really die at any moment the show has cultivated.

" Were people guessing he was coming back from set sightings, or what?" Partially hints dropped in the books, partially hints dropped by McShane in interviews.

Based on his comments on the role he only agreed to do it because it was one episode. (Specifically, he said he wanted to work with Charles Dance and Stephen Dillane, but then found out they were dead, but stuck with it when he found it was a small commitment).

I don't think so, at least not this season. I don't see any obvious set up for what would make him decide to fight for the High Sparrow. I get the sense he'll be staying in the Riverlands since his next move will be to go after the Brotherhood without Banners most likely, and Gregor isn't leaving King's Landing before

I assumed she was partially coached by her advisers on what sort of things would sound correct to say, though clearly was keeping actual decision making to herself.

"Asha & Theon in Volantis" I assume you got that name from looking it up, but that's actually just her name in the books. In the show Theon's sister is named Yara. (Just being helpful in case any show watchers actually know her by name and are confused by that line).

Is betting enough to fall behind Lincoln really the dumb part? She had to bet a minimum of 4601 to beat Jeremy if he bet everything and they were both right, so no matter what she's dropping down to at least 12599 if she's wrong and giving Lincoln a chance to win if he's right and wagers intelligently (which he did).

After listening to an interview with Chris Savino on the excellent Nickelodeon Animation Podcast (which was featured on the Podcast column on this site like two weeks ago. That piece focused on a interview with the Avatar creators, which was a great listen) I decided to check out a few episodes of his new Nick show

Was definitely more beloved than hated in the US by the end. See that video above of him lighting the torch at the Atlanta Olympic Games. They don't give that job to someone regarded as a "pariah"

I find it odd and funny that the oddsmaker finds Loras annoying. He's had like zero screentime in three season. I guess him crying about being tortured was what he found "annoying"?

Unless I'm going crazy yes it is. The thing that makes me certain my brain isn't making some silly mistake here is the "While going to the theater to see GOTG on Tuesday" part. That be a really weird way to talk about going to see a movie that came out two years ago. If it was by chance some special screening, you'd
