From the commercials, I felt that the usually stiff Wasikowska was shockingly charismatic. And I kinda love that dress.

That Netflix will start streaming it? Yeah, hopefully. That they'll pick it up for a third season? I'd say it very minimally helps the chances of that.

While you don't actually know them as inanimately as you get to know TV characters, I feel that the point of a lot of sports media is basically about making you feel as if you know the athletes and what's personally at stake for them. Through the narratives the media has crafted, I can feel like I know what Lebron

JC is the one that gets Greyscale in the books.

Jaime gave his wife away when recruited him for his Dornish adventure, so he'd have to find a new bride. He got the first girl through a deal with Cersei I believe, who seem too busy right now to do more matchmaking for Bronn. Jaime will probably head to the Riverlands for his meeting with the Blackfish (though I

This is not true. There are no numbers for it this weekend yet because WB is no longer reporting early estimates for it (which still shows how much it has fallen), but that is not the same as being out of cinemas. There'll likely be numbers reported for it later today. When a movie is actually out of theaters BOM puts

It certainly is popular with kids still, but I think the statement "challenged in ubiquity only by Marvel properties and Star Wars" is one hell of an exaggeration (in the sense that I feel like it's overlooking a lot of other stuff that's as popular).

Not kicking at you here, but I would also point out the scripts for these episodes were mostly written before the campaign started, so even if it wasn't in the books a direct election connection would be unlikely.

Yara's biggest problem I would argue is basically came up with the most generic Ironborn campaign platform she could have.

Since when is Shipping a Reddit thing? I thought that was the home of MRA's.

It doesn't seem like he is in the show. I believe he said in one of the previous episodes something about being in that tree for a thousands years (so long before 'that guy' was born).

Re: This episode. I didn't need an explanation for where White Walkers came from. I prefer them as an elemental force of nature.

We saw penis last season too…

Yeah, why she gotta make such a big deal about being raped.

-The opening credits feel like they've turned into an awkward monster at this point with all the location and the weird camera shifts, but maybe it just feels more tiring watching on a tablet then on TV.
-It wasn't as if I had a lot of doubt, but the internet confirmed for me that Jon came back before I watched

So, I finally got HBO Now and caught up on the three weeks of episodes I missed last night. I finally don't have to avert my eyes every time I see something that looks like it's Game of Thrones related. Let me indulge myself with thoughts on what I missed.

The fact it was only 2 minutes is presumably a big part of why he was good with that. It was basically just a set visit for him. He might not have been up for playing a main character or something.

A similar thing happened with Despicable Me 2 where Al Pacino dropped out of playing the villain like a month before the movie was set to screen. Apparently he said he had "creative differences" with the filmmakers.

Avenged Sevenfold guy feels nothing.
