These were super campy elements, undeniably, so I get why someone would think this just seemed dumbed. All I can say to explain myself is it just seemed like the right dial of campy for Doctor Who to me. I personally just prefer the show when it's on the line of being too silly then when it's on the verge of taking

Last week I said I was excited for this episode and oh god I was right to be. Funny dialogue! Coherent Plot! An interesting "companion" for the Doctor to bounce off! Good supporting characters! Cool looking villain! Un-Obnoxious examination of the Doctor's own character! Fun adventure! A satisfying conclusion! Peter

In the future, every creative property will possibly be made by Guillermo del Toro for 15 minutes.

After Jamie Mathieson's two awesome episodes last season I really wanted to love this one as much as Wilkins turned out to, but it fell short for me. Lots of good funny/clever/emotional stuff in there, and Maisie was great, but it just didn't come together as well for me.

I'm sure they would, but Alex Hirsch might just decide they've reached the end of the story.

Regarding 2), there'll probably be more. Each episode this season has come with a End Card, which together form the image seen here docs.google.com/drawings/d/…. There's 4 empty places, which presumably means 4 more episodes. They haven't been officially announced, though, which is why IMDB doesn't list more.

No, there's at least 4 episodes remaining this season. (And It's still unclear if there'll be a 3rd after).

"But they didn't talk to Aliens, only found evidence of them, right? This isn't the end, this isn't the end…" ThePrinceThatWasPromised desperately tells himself

I kinda disagree with the 2nd to last paragraph of this review, that it's easier to believe that Ford would be whisked away than Stan. With seemingly so few episodes remaining this season I would have found it odd if they suddenly took Ford out of things, and weird that he'd end up stuck in a really far off place yet

Oh god people are getting nostalgic about Playboy now

You could just look up a list, but it's actually fun trying to find them on your own by coming up with random Google searches/ picking up on clues in the videos.

Well, yeah, obviously it'll need to meet a certain level of quality, but initial expectations definitely have a huge impact on how these sorts of things are judged online.

Everybody already seems to be expecting it to suck…which could work in its favor, since then there could be a "Hey, this is better than I expected" response.

John Oliver is not joking when he says HBO makes you forget about normal TV rules.

I like how he called his wife Amanda Peet, instead of just Amanda, like he wanted to make sure we knew.

That's a very good sign for Game of Thrones (and bad for Mad Men).

Shocker.

Craig Ferguson got two seconds! Hooray!

So the Emmys decided a spoiler-thon was a good idea?
