I agree. I love blasphemy cars, a while back on the GRM boards there was a dude stuffing a subie flat six in an old Ferrari 308. Love it.

Dad saw that happen quite a bit growing up (one of my Great Grandfathers delt in horse teams as things were moving from horse and steam to gas and diesel on farms) and saw some of these teams tear a stuck vehicle apart from the sheer grunt then were capable of!

My educated Redneck cousins (all have Master’s, two which are mechanical engineering) do this. They have a lot of land in Upstate New York and race Dirt Bikes, so they have their own track. Got sick of maintaining it with a shovel real quick, so bulldozer. I have driven it several times, its great!

This gives new Top Gear way more credibility, in my eyes. LeBlanc’s nitty-gritty car-guyness balances out Evans’ more delicate automotive tendencies.

SERIOUSLY! I wanted to read that book since the fans are crazy about it, and they won’t shut up about it. Well, the prologue and the appendices go on forever!
