That’s incredible!

I find the “Clearview” painful to look at... anyone else?

Now playing

As much as a love trucks and this awesome video, somehow I feel these horses would have kicked their ass:

My thoughts too, would have made the video move from cool to epic in my books.

Wikipedia :) (Yes):

Honestly, I don’t think you even needed any words to accompany that picture.

The only time this is practical is when you’re expecting large amounts of freezing rain. Makes scraping the windshield off much easier. Makes no difference in any other circumstance.

My thoughts too. I think Ford wanted someone to notice, otherwise no one would have batted an eye.

You deserve a medal for that. Hopefully you didn’t recognize because you drive a Kia Sedona ;)

At least all the coverage I’ve seen has be purely offroad or purely highway driving, I haven’t really seen anything in between like a busy dirt road, say.

I could definitely be mistaken, it’s not like I’ve researched it extensively. But having gone to school as an engineer, I don’t quite have the confidence in anyone

Agreed, electricity is “magic” to me. I’m a mechanical engineer, direct linkages are highly preferred!

Your NYC perspective is something I don’t have, and it sounds like a whole other world of complications...

Yea, what DARPA and the military are doing with self driving vehicles is pretty awesome. I’m just not confident when you introduce gravel road, snow, traffic, and having to obey the rules of the road in a driverless car. And they all have to interact and figure out how to drive safely. Now maybe this is a situation

Agreed. I don’t think you have any other options.

Hahaha true. People always use this argument when I mention my opinion on snow and self driving cars. And hey, you’ve got a point!

I totally get that, I have an hour commute myself, but its a mix of dirt road/county road/highway/city and it’s in Canada, so I got the snow too.

What if you’re asleep? ;) I suppose a really loud alarm could solve that.

Haha to me that sounds more like a dystopia :)

Cause cars are awesome... and sub-blog ‘Truck Yeah!’
