note to self, don't plan any trips to brazil.

Now playing

the challenges are what make the show. Give them tasks, see what they come up with (which isn't usually good), and laugh at them having to endure it. The limo episode is ono of the best:

hmm, zero bids, wonder why? :-)

The vanilla ice song is a nice touch. The early 80's mustangs were a joke (especially the 4 bangers). I believe they redlined at like 4k RPM, it's amazing how much power they're squeezing out of the same displacement now. They've come a long way.

he was 18, working for peanuts. I do hear those trucks were pretty reliable, probably why you see so many mexicans drive them and take pride in them.

let's see, I and everyone I know have their networks secured, and I and everyone I know still haven't had a google st view car drive past the front of their house yet. Color me "don't give a shit"

the problem with patterns is that just like stars, it depends on your perspective. It only looks like the big dipper because of looking at it from earth, if you looked at the same stars from the moon it would probably look like a bunch of random dots.

I like that you can see the braces welded to the underside of the bluesmobile as he's going over the edge to catch it from going over, and the fact that the car turns around 180 degrees as it flips back.

Meh, video was dissapointing, I was actually excited when I read this. Granted this is the first "flapping wings" human powered vehicle (which is debatable), I've seen human powered propeller vehicles (without an initial tow rope) do flight 30 years ago on 3-2-1 contact (PBS).

@Pessimippopotamus: I drove an 88 as my first car. Only being 8 years old and maybe 80k miles I had rust inside every door and the trunk, a failed wiring harness, bad head gaskets (which would cause it to stall when you first started it up and put it in reverse), and it almost always had an issue with driving in the

really looked like he mowed down some people in the first shot, 2nd shot looks like he just grinded his wheels on the curb

and sadly, pontiac is no more.

So now buzz lightyear will be yelling at me when I'm low on gas?

and the lesson is, old corollas and Hyundai's might not be the best looking cars, but they keep running pretty good.

bmw's would be a great buy, if they could figure out their transmission problems.. anyone? has this issue been resolved since the early 2000's?

U know what's going to happen right? "what u say? Half the weight and space? Put two if them in the next car we build. It'll still get 30mpg but now we can boast about having 500hp!" u car companies make me sick

If you look at the curve of laziness, these shoes are bound to become reality someday. speaking as a mechanical engineer, that servo could get miniaturized a bit, energy is minimal (could recharge via embedded solar panel). My only concern is having some sort of adjustment, like a spring lever so that they don't

@Ash78: there it goes.. no no, I can hear it starting up. I'm sorry, are you from the past?

I never understand people that go "ohh.. I accidentally put it in reverse".. Even if I MEANT to put it in reverse, I don't slam on the gas pedal, I hold the brake first.
