I tried the cyber attrition event and I had a challenge to kill 20 players with an assault rifle. I got 12 in a game, saw the 2 rifleman medals in the postgame, and saw the challenge only increment by 2.

Tbh the campaign did the Ubisoft thing that I’m so bored of. The actual campaign can easily be the same linear structure that every other Halo game had; nothing about the game narratively needs to be open world. And the open world was just a vessel to stuff collectibles in. The actual map had little, if any, variation…
