I believe they meant Last Story instead of Lost Odyssey.
I believe they meant Last Story instead of Lost Odyssey.
This was my biggest disappointment with Sword and Shield. First home(ish) console entry in the main series and it just looks so bland.
I’m in a similar situation. I make sure to set aside time for job searching (there isn’t much to find right now, anyway) and exercise each day but that still leaves the rest of the day where what the hell else am I going to be doing?
For sure. I was regularly chastised for how much time I spent playing games by my parents who regularly watched way more hours of TV than I played games.
If this wasn’t full of COVID-19 references, I would think this was published 20 years ago. Also, that quote from his mom...
Vivillon seems to have replaced it as the ultimate GTS trade since Poipole can be obtained in the Crown Tundra DLC now. Literally every Pokémon I look up on GTS now is asking for Vivillon.
I was unable to complete the most recent Kalos-themed event because a Froakie simply never appeared for me and never showed up on the radar as being by nearby Pokestops. Same for a Herdier in the wild for the recent Unova event. And this is from a couple hours of playing and walking every day of the event with incense…
I actually started playing again during the pandemic. I can walk in the area near my home and hit 3-4 Pokestops while never getting near, or even seeing, another person.
I remember seeing his new hair in Odyssey and thinking “Are they trying to make Bowser attractive?” Like I wasn’t attracted to him, but it really seemed like they wanted me to be.
This is a longer version of this gif than I have seen before. I’ve never seen the awkward smile at the end. Thank you for this.
In its Gigantamax form, Gengar’s mouth is a tunnel that leads to the afterlife. People can even hear their loved ones calling from within to tempt them to step into the void.
My biggest gaming disappointment this year was Super Mario 3D All Stars. Not only was it a half-assed cash grab, but the limited availability during a pandemic was really bad form. Sure, make the physical version a limited edition item if you want, but placing a deadline on the digital version? Why?
A lot of Pokémon appearances just don’t match up size-wise to what’s listed in the Pokédex. The anime does this a lot, the episode with Haunter and pals in the haunted tower (one of my favorite episodes) shows him much smaller. He’s huge in Let’s Go but definitely doesn’t appear that large in Sword and Shield.
Oh, sorry! I responded to the wrong comment.
The only reason I opted for the PS5 with the disc drive was that physical media seem to go on sale far more frequently than digital lately. For example, a few months back I bough DBZ: Kakarot and RE3 for PS4 for $15 each from Best Buy while they were still $60 on the PS Store. And I’ve been able to purchase physical…
Blaseball sounded like something that would absolutely be up my alley. And I did enjoy it for a bit but it did start to feel like work to keep up with.
I was playing on a PS4 Pro and now a PS5 and the game consistently crashes after an hour or so of play. And that’s not an issue with any other game, so it’s not the system. And when it’s not crashing I’m having to frequently restart because some element needed to progress a mission fails to load or can’t be interacted…
I’m happy to find another person who appreciates Delibird! Always been a favorite of mine too. I just wish it was a little more useful.
I remember these playing at Fry’s Electronics when I was a kid and I was absolutely mesmerized by them. I even remember getting a Mind’s Eye DVD for free from there for some reason and taking it home and watching these really trippy graphics demos. I was a strange (or easily entertained) child.
I’m glad I’m not the only one confused by this! I think a dildo was the first lootable item I found. I thought that was a weird choice for a first item to give the player, but shrugged and moved on. Then the dildos just kept coming...
