I remember really liking my Juice Box in middle school. Sure, the cartridges were terrible, but it was really easy to load the music and videos that were absolutely legally downloaded on my PC to the device. 

I’m happy to find another person who appreciates Delibird! Always been a favorite of mine too. I just wish it was a little more useful.

I remember these playing at Fry’s Electronics when I was a kid and I was absolutely mesmerized by them. I even remember getting a Mind’s Eye DVD for free from there for some reason and taking it home and watching these really trippy graphics demos. I was a strange (or easily entertained) child.

I’m glad I’m not the only one confused by this! I think a dildo was the first lootable item I found. I thought that was a weird choice for a first item to give the player, but shrugged and moved on. Then the dildos just kept coming...

I’ll always have fond memories of Frappe Snowland from Mario Kart 64. Not the best track, but I played it so much as a kid because I just love snow levels. I think it has something to do with living in an area where it never snows and is oppressively hot for half the year.

Speaking of the clumsy writing, one thing I hated about RP1 is that instead of just filling it with pop culture references it also explained them all in detail as if Cline didn’t have enough faith in the reader to “get them” on their own. It was like a comedian stopping to explain each of their jokes after they tell…

I adored BoTW, but the rain was a terrible decision. It just arbitrarily blocks you from reaching certain areas for a while. I figured eventually there would be a way around it, like a new skill or upgrading the climbing gear, but no. You just have to either wait or leave and that’s just bad design.

I’ve wondered about this too He’s still available in every game but no anime appearances, merchandise, or cards. I never found a good answer anywhere. 

I enjoyed the demo, but I remember thinking that if the full game didn’t have more variety it could get dull fast. I was really hoping to learn more about each Champion so I’m sad to hear that doesn’t happen. I wanted a whole Lady Urbosa spinoff after playing BotW. I mean, that snap!

I’ve been contemplating watching this because it looks so weird and creepy but it just doesn’t feel like a concept that could last multiple seasons. Maybe a movie?

I agree that Super Training was terrible, but hoard battles were great for EV training! Instead of fighting Pokémon one at a time for EVs you could fight multiple in the same encounter. It sped things up compared to the usual method and was at least more engaging than Super Training.

I wish I had kept my copy of Soul Silver. A used copy now is more expensive than most new AAA releases! 

I really wanted to enjoy this show but generally did not, despite some great standalone moments. Also, for a show focused on reclaiming genre fiction for a group of people generally left out of it, it was disappointing that it fell into the same old tropes of screwing over its queer characters.
