The couple’s attorney is making some pretty specific verifiable claims. If, as they say, they have split the payments equally they should be able to support that. If, as they say, this claim was preceded by a $15M blackmail threat, they should be able to prove that.
If it had been on Game Pass? Possibly. I don’t pretend to know how those contracts work, but I assume there is a payout regardless of how many individuals actually download/play the game. Even excluding Game Pass, getting it on the PS Plus lineup could have made a difference as well.
Learn something new every day. My dad had the same tremor and always referred to it as a Central Tremor. Thanks for the lesson.
ABSOLUTELY. THE FUCK. NOT.
I saw these options, and was intrigued, but I have one question... does changing these options disable achievements/trophies? I assume it probably does like most other games of this ilk, but curious if anyone knows for certain.
Also a reminder that someone’s recollection of an event and their interpretation of that event is allowed to change. Just because she did not identify the situation as sexual assault initially doesn’t mean she isn’t allowed to look back on it and draw that conclusion later on.
I tend to agree with you for the most part, but there are myriad reasons why someone might want to preorder a game that go beyond collector’s edition swag. Some developers allow early access for those who preorder. Others can use preorder numbers to justify additional exposure or hype ahead of a game’s release…
I’m creating 5 more accounts to give you 5 more stars.
Fanboi say what?
If your ears are actually bleeding because of clipped audio, that says more about your need to go see an ENT doctor than it does about the streamer’s audio setup. And if it has happened so many times, why don’t you just turn down the volume when you watch a video of someone getting excited about something?
Yeah, over the years as they acquired stores like Funcoland and others, they just took over the locations and rebranded, never really seemed to do any analysis of saturation. Everyone jokes about a starbucks across the street from a starbucks, but Gamestop has been getting just as bad. A little correction is a good…
I played a bit throughout the time that this was branded as “xCloud”. It is not, in my opinion, a replacement for the experience of sitting in front of the TV, but I was able to use it a few times when my kids monopolized the Xbox with one of their marathon Minecraft sessions. I am looking forward to having this…
Yeah, you said as much and I misunderstood. Thanks for the clarification!
I just want to be clear before I dive further into this hole, but I am interpreting your stance to be:
I agree with you, there are some things which are a bit heavy-handed. I worked to get my island to 5 stars as quickly and haphazardly as possible (fences all over, outdoor furniture just strewn about) in order to get 5 stars. Once I got it, I’ve been more meticulously tailoring my island to what i want it to be. You…
I didn’t say anyone was saying the game sucks. I was pointing out the disconnect between a game about small victories and slow progression versus the media coverage that has a hemorrhage any time something new comes along that can’t be exploited for immediate and unprecedented profit. For example:
I appreciate your reply, and my reply was probably less about this particular post than it was about the overall coverage I see on AC events. Keep doing what you do!
It really saddens me that everything in this game is being analyzed through some sort of min/maxing lens. It’s not just Kotaku. Unless a seasonal event or new bug type brings with it a new get rich scheme, it gets bashed as a waste of time. In an entire game about slowing down and appreciating the changes that come…
