Wait, so is any rom-com starring Asians now another version of Crazy Rich Asians? Because I’m not seeing much else that this movie has in common.

I like to imagine the text exchanged happened, but it wasn’t actually KD on the other end. Just some random dude who seized an opportunity to fuck with Chris Broussard by impersonating KD.

This is burrito gatekeeping at it’s finest. Most places don’t have options for small, medium, or large burritos. The burrito size they serve is the burrito size you get. 

The major problem here is condensation. Putting a hot burrito into a tight fitting piece of ceramic will cause condensation, which will turn your tortilla slimy and mealy. Hold a burrito in your hands like a regular human being.

Rice and corn are filler and also do not belong in a burrito, unless the corn is part of a salsa.

Galbi. Grilling your own galbi is so fucking satisfying because you can char it up to your exact liking. Turn that flame up, throw on the thin spare ribs, let the flame kiss the meat while the fat bubbles up and blackens, and then enjoy your sweet, savory, slightly crispy around the edges, melt in your mouth galbi.

If there is lettuce, or any other plant (besides pico de gallo/salsa, or avocado) in your burrito, you are getting your burritos from the wrong place.

I find this to be true all the way until about 11:55am. 12pm is the magic hour for lunch.

Yep. Hypocrisy is a main symptom of racism. If a white person bat flips, it’s fine! They’re showing excitement in the moment! If a Latinx or black player bat flips, they’re showing up the other team; they’re showing too much emotion.

Currybowl was about as much fun as I’ve had watching the NBA this season. And I watch a lot of NBA. That was cool as hell.
