I’ve been seeing Xbox 1 S’s pop up on my twitter feed from amazon, best buy and walmart for $200, or less, that come with a boxed game. The SAD is $250, or worse in europe.

Didn’t even think about that, good point.
The HDD size isn’t the point, it’s part of it. I dunno why I’m getting comments that just can’t get this point.
A tiny characteristic? You mean trading, buying used, renting, selling, lending is a tiny characteristic? IDK that can save you a lot of money if your friend wants to just lend you a game vs buying it $60.
Well given that the customer is giving up the ability to rent, borrow, lend, sell games/movies, nevermind buy used games and such, MS should be taking a big loss on the hardware since they will take far more money in the long run via digital sales. Currently paying 50 dollars less to get a superior XB1S (which…
I’m trying to figure out where you’re going with this comment because regardless of my answer, you’d be paying $50 MORE for LESS hardware nevermind the numerous software options you lose out on.
I lend games frequently, friends I know do so as well. I have a decent library of titles that I’m happy to lend and sometimes it results in them buying a copy for them self.
Let me boil down why your comment makes no sense.
So, you spend the exact same amount of money for lesser hardware that removes your ability to buy used, rent, lend, borrow, sell games and movies for. . . what benefit?
The Windows Store is a joke, I got a “fun” story about it.
It won’t sell porn or bloatware, great. Now maybe the software itself can stop acting as spyware and digging into steam’s files for no reason.
I’m baffled why they redesigned one of the most iconic characters since the 90s.
I started super early with the Genesis and Sonic 1, let me not only enjoy a game/something in common with my brother but I also got to play RPGs where I’d actually enjoy reading instead of being bored to tears with books.
Hah, neat. These kinds of things have existed for ages but always seemed a bit weak for any real use. I more mean monitors they made to attach to your PS1, PS2 and I think they did one for the 360? But this looks way better made than a majority of those solutions.
I’m not sure this deal is a deal according to the site:

* tear filled salute * You get those gizmos, god speed.
Phantasy Star 4 is a great RPG overlooked just because of the platform. It, Shining Force and Beyond Oasis are great RPGs (Oasis I guess is adventure title?) that I wish got more love.
Bad PR but they’d be in the right if the contract says anything to that effect, which it likely does. Sony doesn’t care about bad PR, they’re top dog right now and that means they will continue ignoring this stuff as they brush it off. They’ve had a lot of criticism over backward compatibility, poor battery life in…
For those looking to defend Epic’s actions here in making an exclusivity deal they were once yelling at Microsoft, claiming they have no right to tell who can sell what on their platform. Now here they are doing just that and seemingly getting a lot of misinformation out there.
