How many of you who comment first and don’t look at the post date on the comment you’re replying to are there? Too many! It’s going on 4 years old sir, things change.

You, like many others obviously didn’t look at the post date of that comment.

Jango is the kind of person to defend anything Nintendo puts out to the point where he’ll defend things you didn’t point out.

I don’t have a 4k TV nor have I even thought about one. Frankly the focus on 4K with these mid-gen upgrades is unappealing considering they can barely get their games running at a decent framerate.

Have you seen any recent reviews without the potential bias of being paid off? The best they can say the gameplay is okay, but it’s not a metroid title, and they all say the story is crap and the voice acting is worse.

Metroid/Zero Mission he was killed. He literally exploded.

Because that is not shown in the games. There’s nothing, that at all refelcts that Samus is reliant on some goon who never appears in the games. He’s mentioned in the game that comes last in the series canon but we have to take it that he’s earned Samus’ respect? ....

You’re seriously defending the Ridley thing? She’s killed him 4 separate times and you think she’s suddenly going to have flashbacks to someone she’s obliterated him and his entire organization?

So a game that negates everything the series has done over the past 30 years and 8 main line titles is a step in the right direction? Reviews, sales numbers and general critisims disagree.

I agree, I didn’t mind the computer in Fusion because you didn’t trust it. You knew something was up and not only did you feel alone you now had the monsters, SA-X and the computer to worry about. Not helped by the game actually being pretty damn scary for a 2D game.

I was wondering who’d write such a lengthy comment but then I saw it’s you. Dood I know you like Nintendo but if you’re gonna sit her and try and tell me Other M was a good game or in anyway the right step for the series. I don’t have much to say other than I beat it and hated it and it’s the antithesis of Metroid.

Other M focused so hard on being action it lost all sense of what a good Metroid game should be, platforming and exploration. Federation Force another game with Metroid in the title that had nothing to do with what the series is about, but more action.

My fingers are crossed that they actually learned from Other M and didn’t just write off everything as ‘fans don’t like Metroid anymore’. Yes I saw the quote about Sakamoto but I’m not sure he understands WHY no one liked how Samus was portrayed. An experienced bounty hunter taking orders like a rookie, and being

His statements dodging around how a phone chat system is better is comical. Let’s say some negatives together about this system shall we:

I don’t like them myself, but I know others do and will refuse to buy games that don’t have it. (Old PS3 games)

That’s a very good comparison, yes you should not copy a game and sell it as your own, as an artist I agree with you and don’t think you should sell other’s art as your own.

That’s okay, fans who are passionate about the games they love and the art they do will continue to make what they want and Nintendo will either have to learn to deal with that or keep being the bully that kicks over Super Mario themed sand castles :)

If they don’t release their work then what is the point? Just ignore the attention factor from fans of a series, mods and fangames get picked up because of their work and dedication to them.Again looking at something like Sonic Mania being a good recent example, fangame makers and modders now gone pro. Some people who

I find it funny when fans of companies defend them stifiling fun and creativity instead of being supportive toward the community.Especially when the company themselves aren’t interested in making the title anymore or making very poor titles like Other M and Federation Force.

No, make what you want. Learn from it and create so you can expand into new territory. Do you have any idea how many games started out as mods or fan projects? You probably have played more than a few and don’t even know it.
