I think this sound completely lovely and I'm trying to figure out if I have friends who would be down with it for my girls or if I should look for more new-agey friends over the next 6ish years. Not really on the looking for new friends, but we did just move, so maybe?

my current plan (to be implemented when school gets out in 2 days) is to do one of those HIIT apps for 15 minutes or whatever because it's short enough to make it difficult to talk myself out of it. Then I can take the kids on one of the many walking trails in our new city several times each week. By the end of the

As a job seeker, you should be answering the phone every time it rings. You want to make it easy and convenient for them to hire you. I've been on both sides of the interview table, and the person making the best impression is the one making herself most accessible.

"not that the relationship is guaranteed, but it can be a nice bonus."

I went from one to three so don't have experience with just two as a regular occurrence. But. Any two of my three get along amazingly-doesn't master if it's the twins or either of the twins and their older sister. As soon as the third child comes home (or stops playing in another room or whatever), it's WWIII around

"I'm currently pregnant with my first and cannot FATHOM doing this again."

If she's really lucky and plays her cards right, she'll get a job reporting in a bigger market out of this. Honestly, I feel like the only reason this is getting national attention is because it echoes the story about the photo shopped yearbook pictures. I'm really annoyed by the situation.

It's designed sleeveless to be less hot under a jacket. Women have the advantage over men in this one.

I'm surprisingly annoyed by this announcement. Why couldn't Lego introduce more female characters into their existing lines and make this one mixed gender? I'm also picturing lots of pink and purple lab equipment. As the mother of 3 girls, we have lots of love for pink and purple in this house, but it just seems wrong

"Do little toddler girls have socks that have dinos or racecars on them?"

I've been there. It's obnoxious.

Any man who is still single at 26 is a "menace to society." Seriously. One of the prophets said it.

With a few exceptions during college, I spent my entire life living in UT and I don't know how to make funeral potatoes. I'm sure I could Google, but I'm too lazy. Anyway, potlucks are not so common where I live now so I'd have nowhere to take them.

Pink Moscato. I'm classing things up all over this joint.

Suddenly I wish I had some Doritos to go with my (box) wine. Now back to your regularly scheduled topic.

Laundry is another milestone I'm looking forward to. There's just so much of it. My 6 yr old puts hers away (not sure why I bother to fold it, though). The 3 yr olds just aren't quite ready for that yet.

I cannot wait until my kids are old/tall enough to empty the dishwasher.

I would definitely advise it. My oldest is in kindergarten so hadn't really been influenced too much yet. I have friends with high school age children who have had dates (like for prom) set up with Mormon kids only to be cancelled on because the Mormon parents didn't want their kid going on a date with a non-Mormon.

I think you're absolutely right. Back in my kid-free days I'd regularly check the clearance rack at Target for cheap tops. All I ever found were maternity. Fast forward to my first pregnancy, I thought finding cheap tops would be easy. But, no maternity to be found on that rack.

I grew up in rural Utah (this high school was a rival to my high school). Thanks to living in this culture during my teenage years, I'm constantly questioning the appropriateness of what I'm wearing. One of the reasons we (recently) moved is so our daughters aren't raised with that very dominant cultural influence.
