I would respond, but you apparently have a heated opinion on the matter and would doubtfully listen to anything I would have to say on the subject. So I will refrain from engaging with you.

No I wasn't clear. The author and I continued the discussion where I clarified what I meant. But just to clarify again...

The gunfire contributed to the amputation of his arm. However, the troop's movements, Jackson refusing proper housing for bedrest, and the doctor's not identifying and treating the early stages of Pneumonia are what lead to his death. They had listed him as favorable and would make a full recovery after the

It's the way the article frames the situation. Lauren Davis was extremely kind enough to amend it(thank you again). It frames that Jackson continued the assault and died accordingly. The battle itself was over. Jackson was shot at night. However, he did not die from the musket rounds. He wasn't killed at the battle.

Absolutely. The Confederacy made several blunders like this quite often. It's a definite "roll your eyes" moment when reading some of their battle tactics lol.

This is true. However the doctors had listed him as favorable health and would make a full recovery. The troop's movements and their inability to administer the proper care - Jackson actually refused proper living quarters and instead took an office for his rest area - contributed greatly to his death. You could

One. Not a ridiculous word. Two that's why there are editors in the world. "With nary" is the correct sentence structure. You could have just stated that. I don't mind being corrected. Thank you.

No problem. Sorry I got word jumbled there. My apologies. Jackson is a bit of a childhood hero of mine and his victory/wounding at Chancellorsville knocked a lot of the breath out of the Confederate army. Lee never really recovered from it. Their victory on May 3rd was one of the most complete of the entire war for

I'm sorry. I wasn't clear. The main assault had ended by nightfall after Jackson broke the Federals at around 6pm that afternoon. The wounding was 3 hours later as you said, around 9pm. Meaning that it wasn't in the heat of battle that he was shot as the article implies.

Jackson wasn't killed by the musket rounds. He died from pneumonia. His left arm was amputated leading to the quote form Lee to Jackson himself:

Did you read Batman #39? I seriously doubt it'd be Alfred

I was gonna post a sarcastic meme, but instead I'll simply say this. It was a joke. I know it's an original film.

That is of course, your choice. However, why not put the beer away from your peripherals and pay attention while working on the comp? Even 5 in I've never had this problem.

Honestly, I'll have to completely disagree. A 360 gamepad isn't optimized for games like League, Warcraft, DOTA2, Lord of the Rings Online, FFXIV, etc. A mouse and keyboard are the only way to go. Also a lot of FPS games are better suited to a mouse and keyboard layout - the controller is just a preference for console

The 80's, and the 90's. With the exception of literally the last 5-6 years being a "nerd" has been rough. I'm glad you posted this. Some of my younger friends from college (I went back) don't get it. They wear these shirts and flaunt all this stuff and it's like a slap in the face in a way. I try to explain that to

The regional governors now have direct control of their territories. Fear. Fear will keep the local systems in line.

Oh I loved it too. I agree 100% with what you stated. It was one of my favorite reasons for going to Tomorrowland after the refresh. I wasn't insinuating that it wasn't amazing. However the reason they removed it from the park was because it was deemed to intense. The thing about adults still holds true. My mom

It didn't jump the shark with that. Watterson demanded that the Sundays not be confined to the same rigmarole that the syndication wanted. He felt that their restrictions were stifling the creativity of the artists and that they could tell better stories if given the proper space to do so. He bucked the trend

I had a conversation with my fiance this weekend about just this. Almost the exact same words and the exact same quote. I still find myself reading the strips now as an adult and realizing how much my understanding of the world was shaped by this little spike-haired boy and his stuffed tiger.

Haha, I find that funny it made it's way to the Wiki page. I remember being a kid in 94 when the ExtraTERRORestrial attraction opened. I knew they'd scraped the Alien influence beforehand sadly. It was supposed to tie into the 15th anniversary after they couldn't finish it in time for the 1992 opening for Alien 3.
