Thanks for that, thought it looked familiar. Didn't realize they collaborated on so many products, and from '78 already.

That looks awfully similar to a Mitsubishi 3000GT... Was there some sharing going on between Dodge and Mitsu at this time?
Thanks for letting me get some more of my dislike of it off my chest hehe!
It probably isn't. The X1, X3, X5 and X6 are also big offenders, but if I were to make up a list of BMWs I like least, they would be in this order (from least to most disliked):
I'm still going to have to respectfully disagree with you. It might be a great car, but for me it's still an atrocious BMW. The most un-BMW BMW I can think of actually.
Thing is it probably is a very, very good car. It just isn't a very good BMW, and especially not a very good 5 Series. Most definitely not a GT by any stretch of the imagination.
Well waddya know, my entry made it! :)
I missed that, but I'm glad someone within BMW expressed regret over this car. I've wondered about it many times, but I just can't for the life of me understand what they were thinking when they signed it off.
Well, I suppose that's a pretty important bit of info to leave out. She did just under 180000km at that point, and I'll be fair, I had plenty of trouble-free clicks prior to this incident. I loved that darn car.
Actually, I already submitted a post arguing just this very perception.
I'm going to go with Toyota. Very honest and reliable cars for the most part, but contrary to the common belief (well, at least up until the recall hell of not too long ago) that you simply cannot break a Toyota, it turns out you can.
I'll definitely give this a go next time I'm about to prepare some bacon. Just regarding freezing individual slices, I reckon I do have a better way to go about it: Cook them, then eat them. No need to package and freeze them then.
I find the new commenting system notsomuch of an improvement either. Nothing against Jalopnik, but it's as if Gawker is actively trying to alienate their users. First the website redesign debacle, then just as I kind of gotten used to that, the commenting system gets juggled around.
I can't stand it when I'm in traffic, in the fast lane, the lane starts moving - except- for the idiot directly in front of me. Result? 5 cars jump into the lane I'm in and I'm not moving at all. Reason? The idiot in front of me is too busy checking out his/ her Android/ iPhone/ iPad/ Blackberry/ some other demonic…
That made for great reading, thanks for that.
I was going to nominate that too. Mechanically and dynamically it might be brilliant, but look at it... LOOK at it...
I still think a proper coupe would be a hit. If it's designed as such from the beginning, maybe it could be a couple of potentially insignificant kilos lighter than the roadster?
Thank you, what you said. Funny thing is he predicted he stood a good chance of winning a race at the start of the season (or midway, can't remember exactly on the count of my brain acting all George W. Bush lately) and most people, myself included, wondering what he was smoking.
