From what little I’ve read about the Jolie/Pitt fun, Ms. Jolie seems to have fallen off the deep end.

“And thus no one was [able] to stop the march of the million metronomes which triggered the 10 magnitude earthquake...”

“...Apparently, NO ONE looks 40, because we all look 32...”

AKA The Slippery Slope Slide Begins.

“Pretty sure Melania sold her soul, and her dignity, in the devil’s bargain of marriage to Drumpf.”

Probably one of the doors off the kitchen - also probably no need to model it because nothing that’s there can be moved and nothing new is going to be put there.

I would think VR or pseudo-VR would have worked - all items are already modeled so “simply” render them and “walk through”.

Probably the same thing as British and electrics.

One of the major gotchas in the Internet Of Things is device security.

I was apparently born at the right time - my folks bought a gajillion Dr. Seuss books that I avidly read and then, like 40-50 years later, I introduced them to my daughter (the same physical books - I keep everything...).

Looks moldy.

I think you’re missing something fundamental with all the posts you have replied to because they completely show the cost-effectiveness of changing to LEDs from, say, incandescent lighting (the calculator link I posted very very clearly shows that - in the default case (that can be changed) the savings was, like,

“...I save $11 a year for 3 LED bulbs and spend at least $14 a year to buy replacements. How is my net loss of $3 saving me any money...”

The chart is energy use, not electricity use.

“...Get a clue as to what electricity rates are, how much electricity a bulb wastes and then come back and tell me how you can make that money back on it in 18 months...”

“LEDs are not cheap. All the money you think you’re saving on electricity is spent on the price premium you pay buying LEDs...”

My daughter left for college and our electric bill plummeted. We couldn’t figure it out since her electricity usage simply couldn’t have been all that significant - a little night lighting, some laptop powering - that’s pretty much it (we have gas heat and gas water heating).

Maybe he used to be 6'2" - weight can make you shorter - no kidding.

“...I’ve also heard the glass ones tend to shatter in a spectacular fashion...”

What sticks out for me is the lack of earthquakes along the west coast of the US. That’s somewhat...concerning...
